Last he said was if the fight presents itself let's do it. He never said "I don't want to fight Pacquiao".

Why is the $40 million offer bogus but not the charity offer?
Why is 24 day cut off good but not 14?
Why is Arum telling the truth but Espinoza isn't?

Should Espinoza say: "I don't know who to call"?

Um, yes. All threads on this same rehashed topic get merged here. People should know better than even creating them anymore. Just keep it all in here.

I usually enjoy your posts, Ray, but I can't see anybody killing George Foreman. Maybe the early version of Mike. But this is the later version we are talking about here.

It's interesting to note also that there is authority that Cus told Mike that George would be all wrong for him.

From an interview with Scott Weiss, author of the Cus D'Amato biography "Confusing the Enemy":

"But Cus was afraid, and it is true, he was afraid of George Foreman. If you looked at the way that George Foreman punched, and if you stand up and pretend that you’re in a boxing stance, his right hand comes around and underneath. And that unfortunately gets the peek-a-boo fighter in a bad position because every punch is like a clockwise motion. They are like wide, rounding uppercuts. Cus would say, 'You’ll never fight George Foreman. Don’t do it.' "

    Source: http://www.saturdaynightboxing.com/2013/12/q-dr-scott-weiss-on-cus-damato-part-i.html

Now, this author Scott Weiss may be a very doubtful authority, since the book he wrote on Cus is a "biographical novel," and is full of embellishments, which some people who knew Cus have strongly criticized. And he never offers sources for any of his information. But I thought I would offer it here for whatever it is worth.

Foreman lost to Tommy Morrison, who was a glass-jawed, slower version of Tyson. Anyone who thinks Foreman could have beaten Tyson or even deserved a shot at him is delusional.

I'd actually rather see them box than Mayweather and Pacquiao, in all honesty.

But didn't Morrison win the fight while boxing and moving backwards successfully while Tyson never successfully boxed moving backwards? Also, if Foreman's chin could withstand Morrison's bombs for 12 rounds and Holyfield's punches for 12 he very well could have withstood Tyson's punches for 12 rounds.

    tyson ducked nobody !!

people do remember tyson having to go to prison for x amount of time do they , also the injuries he had during his reign , i dont believe for one second he ducked anyone , the guy was a ****ing animal who would have beaten virtually anyone past or present if he did not let his life hit the skids . some fights dont happen because of outside interference , TV disputes , injury , prison and god knows what else .

    mayweather on the other hand.....
