to be fair Algieri movement was a level over Floyd's current capabilities

I don't think this is a match up where someone is going to be crushed

Very very good point. Alexander held Maidana... Chris doesn't hold on the inside, and yes I agree Alexander is a better boxer than Chris

Floyd has now been called out by Manny, Roach & Arum. Eben by the President of CBS as he is meeting with Arum.

Response from Mayweather camp: usual crickets

Floyd and Haymon are desperately seeking a way out. The rumor going around that they are trying to land Cotto is actually the only thing that would accomplish this. It would mean they don't have to go head to head with cotto/canelo, which we all know the ONLY thing that can do that is a Mayweather/Pacquiao. I believe the rumor its got Floyd written all over it.

I have to assume you mean Floyd vs Pac?

You really have to be more specific. FWIW my care is getting pretty small at this point.

If I had to choose my 2015 superfight, Rigo vs Loma, Kovalev vs Stevenson, GGG vs Froch / Ward and (possibly) Cotto vs Canelo work at least as well for me.

Pac and Mayweather have now passed their sell-by and whilst there's still the residual fascination, I just don't really care all that much.

Would I watch? Sure I would. Would I care all that much? No.

If talks are actually taking place. What do you want him to say? What does he even need to say? Both sides STFU and just negotiating without media involvement is the best way to go about it isn't it?

What is Floyd supposed to say? Just curious what you'd expect.

I'm all in favor of contentless threads about ducking or whatever being added here but legitimate news articles regarding the fight's likelihood of happening can actually produce interesting discussion, discussion that largely becomes impossible whenever any thread containing the words Mayweather and Pacquiao in the title or initial post instantly gets relegated to this ****heap. Honestly the recent amount of merging reeks of nothing more than a petty power trip.

Funny when Floyd called out Manny 2X and was ready to fight him. Manny quack quacked. Has anything really changed or does Manny need more publicity by talking about Floyd? This is just more posturing by the pretender Pacroid while he fights lionesses like Algieri.

    Who necks Alvarado, Vargas, Garcia?

    Ok lol

Pacquiao: "I'll do whatever he wants"

    ....

    "$40 million is not enough"

Either line is cool, but don't say them both. It's misleading.

They're still pretending that Algieri was a legitimate threat, and that Pacquiao just got a great win.

It will take Algieri taking a few more losses for sanity to prevail.

Having said that, if he does, they'll say he was "ruined" by Pac.

While I agree the Mayweather farce is out of control . But then this so is the censorship like this. Isnt this supposed to be a forum where we discuss the sport?? How is it we are censored on topics we discuss which are Boxing related. You can look down the threads & see people using racial slurs, tossing obscenities at each other every day yet they aren't censored.
Not trying to cause problems just cannot understand why this is
