He was willing to do a winner take all......Floyd wasn't or at least didn't touch that with a 100 ft pole. But If Floyd is willing to negotiate instead of make bull**** offers then hopefully this fight happens and these two get paid for it.

But......this fight is far from done. Only Manny has said anything at all.....Floyd has been like a mouse.

:thumbsup it's us the fans who made these two boxing superstars. they earned millions from boxing because we, the fans paid to watch them fight.

they should give this one superfight back to us and not insult us throwing garbage reasons of not making this fight

It actually happened. I couldn't believe my ears when it happened. This girl called Alma at work was in a heated debate with a couple of guys and this other girl about who would win between Pac and Mayweather. Alma is Filipino hence her interest in Pac and boxing but it actually happened.

I would have paid stupid money to see this fight a few years ago. Now I'll probably just download it the day after it happens and watch it for free.

Mayweather would not be able to handle Pac. Pac is too strong, fast, throws punches from many angles. Also, Floyd appears to have no *******.

FMJ will win, pac's struggled to beat the decent fighters he's fought in the last 3/4 years, - Bradley marquez etc, his convincing wins have come against low level fighters he's bought up a division from LWW.

Floyd will fold into a clamshell covering his face like Clottey.

I'd favour mayweather on points, Even Algieri had success slipping and moving out of range against PAC, and we know PAC struggles against good counter punching. Then again mayweather has been known to shell up and not throw back if a guy comes at him with non stop pressure, causing him to lose rounds by default. I doubt PAC has it left in him to do it over 12 rounds though.

A lot of people will pick against Floyd out of spite.

It's a tough call but I went with Mayweather, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Pac pull it off. Here's why.

Despite both men looking old now, Floyd is a bit sharper in his counters and looks to have the quicker hands. He presents the movement (ring generalship), counters, speed and timing to hit Pac all night. Some of his usual moves won't work though. His Philly shell will get cracked, his shoulder roll will leave his right side partially exposed and that's bad news against a lefty. His best weapon would be his lead right/pull counter and right hook. He'd need to stay at range, avoid the ropes (tie up when inside), focus on timing and upping his activity a little bit to make up for Pac's activity. His adjustments will be key, because Pacquiao will hurt him if they fight, mark my words. His in-ring adjustments will prevent it from happening more than once.

Pacquiao just needs to do what he does best. I think at this stage he has better footwork than Floyd but he cannot cut the ring off that well. Pac's best assets against Floyd is his hand speed, foot speed, head movement, combination and angles. His leaping in to attack won't always work against Floyd, check hooks will catch him on the way in. Since he's the shorter fighter, that's a no-no, or else it's Porter-Brook or Crawford-Gamboa all over again. He's also off balance a lot when throwing his lead left, this probably has a lot to do with his shorter stature and him reaching in. I'd take advantage of that (or at least try to) and score a KD. Want to know what Pacquiao's best weapon against Floyd is that nobody ever talks about? His feints. With his speed, activity, and feints, he will completely befuddle Floyd's timing. That will open up TONS of opportunities for a left hand. He needs to stay busy and steal rounds. Floyd's a low output fighter so you want to smother him.

If this fight takes place in 2015, I can see Pacquiao winning big in the early rounds but coming up short (no pun intended) in the later rounds. I think it'd be a hotly debated split decision that'll leave a bitter taste in the fans' mouth. At least that's how I feel now.

OK Its a definate possiblity that Paq and Floyd could finally meet in the ring .

My question is this who wins ...really !!
its obvious this will be a double retirement match ..or instant rematch

    then retire .

Mayweather got two fights left in his deal , why not 2 Paq fights ..100 mil off the first and depending on the results and how it went further bundle on the rematch and walk .

Im in two minds ..i can see May dominating aka JMM , or even aka Cotto

but on the flip side i can see Paq handling him like Clottey (you wanna defend ??, then defend all night with no room for offense)

But what do you guys the real fans think ??
