If what you are saying is true, then there is no controversy then.

Apparently numbing drugs are illegal. His use of xylocaine is a loophole that he's taken advantage of. Is this in the spirit of fair play since he only fights in Nevada because so he can use x drug?

You, Hermit and the rest don't seem to get it, so let me lay it out for you:

    * IF Pacquiao were using PED's, he wouldn't necessarily be using them the night of the fight. He would be using them, supposedly, during his training to bulk up for the fight and then ditching them come fight time. That is, the benefit from using the PED would be during the training, not necessarily during the fight

    * Floyd wouldn't have to use Lidocaine ON FIGHT NIGHT to be getting a benefit from using a PED for an upcoming fight. He uses the PED during the training, his hands hold up, he's able to train harder and be ready to fight come fight night

Same thing here. Floyd apparently has ADMITTED to using performance-enhancing substances which allow him to do things his body would not be able to do, substances which are banned from boxing usage in some states.

So, is Floyd going to be tested for Lidocaine usage during his sparring sessions and workouts 14 days before the fight?

This falls into what is typically known as "hypocrisy," if these reports are true. At least hypocrisy, if not more so depending on when the substances would have been used by PBF and if they were allowable then.

There no controversy he can use the drug through out his training as long as it is not use a week before a fight.

I just have a question for the *******s that are salivating over this. Do you actually think Mayweather would be stupid enough to ask for Olympic style blood testing if this was going to be illegal? Do you think he would have allowed HBO to know about this if that was the case? I don't think so.

You're a moron and you're really starting to **** me off now.

You can be "prescribed" HGH and steroids for medical purposes. That was Toney's excuse, if I recall correctly. You think getting a doctor's excuse is going to cut it when PBF is trying to call for Manny to be tested for PED's?

If a pitcher's arm needs surgery or is chronically injured, do you think it's ok if he used HGH to heal it because he needs to? Nope. MLB isn't letting that go down.

Further, all the sudden it's cool if the NSAC says it's ok if Floydy has his "doctor's note?" Then why isn't it ok if the NSAC says that they don't do drug testing?

You get it? The bullsh*t by PBF doesn't hold up, however you slice it.

I can't see Lidocaine being that beneficial in training. Sure, he can hit harder in sparring, but, that would increase the chance of damage to his hands.

The only benefit to Lidocaine usage would be on fight night.

Really? Its not medically possible for taking blood to weaken you? Really? Then why do they give you cookies and orange juice to keep your strength up immediately after a blood test and tell you not to work out? Why do people get light headed and/or pass out after giving blood? Go have a small blood test taken for health or life insurance which is a very small amount designed to screen for things like HIV and Cancer and tell me they dont tell you to refrain from strenuous activity for at least a day or two. The ignorance on here is staggering.
