if he does not fight pacquaio then he is a ducking and 98 percent of the people will be dissapointed he is more likely going face khan

khan is the only one wanting the fight he has gone so far begging the reporters to get him the floyd fight why doesnt he make himself a p4p fighter a let the fans demand it?

I think he's gonna concede the date, and already been planning too, just the bluff is a part of a bargaining chip. Can you imagine if it doesn't happen cause Arum wouldn't budge?

Perception would immediately shift back to Arum and Pac, as the last guilty party who didn't want the fight. Both sides did their part to hold it up, it's just recently, the public perceives Floyd as the hold up.

"I got to where I got to by making the right moves. No matter how you cut it, I got to where I got to by winning, working smart, not working harder. So when I hear a guy says I just do it for the fans, that's not true, totally not true,"

This is no different than Hollywood actors receiving honorary degrees from really, really good schools.

We all know Floyd has a history of cherrypicking and some of his actions in the ring have been disgraceful.

Current fighters that "do it for the fans" include Amir Khan, Timothy Bradley, Manny Pacquiao, Tyson Marquez, Nonito Donaire, Gennady Golovkin, etc..

Bradley, Donaire, and Golovkin. That's it from your list that do it "for the fans".

Every prize fighter fights for money. If they turn down any match or completely ignore a potential one because the risk/reward, or purse split (anything financial), or because of style, they aren't doing it for the fans. If any fighter fought for the fans, they most likely wouldn't be at the top.

Manny does it for the fans, that's why in his last 3 fights he's fought Chris Avocado, and Caveman Rios. He sure is the people's champ! Please Manny continue this route by fighting Vargas, and Alvarado.

Floyd is right, why fight riskier opponents for the same amount of money if you can cherrypick your way through opponents like ortiz, guerrero and maidana and preserve your health and zero?

It is different. Pacquiao is ONLY qualified for boxing. He can't act, he can't sing, he's just a "face" in politics not a real politician, he's not a general, he can't play basketball or coach professionally. He can basically do whatever he wants in the Philippines because of his popularity. He's not qualified for any of it. And that makes everything he's involved in look like a joke.
