Who cares about the date really? But it will go down as a duck from Arum officially if this becomes a serious road block. Floyd is the bigger star so he should be able to pick his date. It's not a big deal. I understand the mexican respect angle but we can put that aside for this circumstance.

At the risk of sounding like a Fossil Bob apologist, I will say that if he is able to stage Canelo-Cotto on May 2nd and leverage Cinco De Mayo for that fight and still stage Pac-Mayweather on another date which wouldn't need the benefit of that date, he would indeed be optimizing profits.
