The date goes to whomever SELLS the most.

Bradley at 147 is a better name than anyone May has fought in the same division.

Yes. If not, a PR/Mexico rivalry will do just fine.

Is Oscar selling out Floyd now?

Days ago someone said or published that Arum and Oscar has trick Floyd to force and fight pac where he has no options left. Floyd pick May 2 to fight someone else not pac in case canelo backs out. Arum already knew this and said that date should be for canelo-cotto.

    Cotto-Martinez = 350K Buys
    Canelo-Lara = 300K Buys

Canelo-Cotto is the second biggest fight that can be made in 2015. Neither guy has done well as a PPV draw, but together, they have something special. Canelo-Cotto should happen on May 2 because this fight would benefit from taking place on Cinco de Mayo weekend.

Canelo-Cotto has been in talks for months w/ the target date of May 2 as confirmed by both Arum and Oscar. Canelo-Cotto and May 2 has been a part of their 2015 business plan since last year.

I hope Arum and Oscar secure May 2 for Canelo-Cotto in the very near future. If they do, they would pretty much force the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. Mayweather will not be able to compete against Canelo-Cotto going up against Khan/Garcia/Thurman. I believe that this is part of Arum's plan.

If Floyd's insistence on May 2 prevents the fight from happening, then it's a pure duck. Plain and simple. Canelo-Cotto has to be on May 2. Pacquiao-Mayweather doesn't.
