Decades ago when we had vinyl records and cassette tapes, a single had a B-Side because records and tapes had flip sides and you had to put something on it.

The "A-Side" was the song everyone was buying. The "B-Side" was the filler, which no one cared about and often people didn't even listen to once. People would have bought the single even if there had been no B-side.

In boxing, there's no way you can call someone the "A-Side", because there is no fight without the other fighter. People come to watch BOTH FIGHTERS.

People would flock to watch Mayweather-Pacquiao because they think it's a competitive clash. They would NOT go to watch Floyd Mayweather shadowbox alone in the ring.

Anyone who uses the terms "A-Side" and "B-Side" is trying to make money through false semantics. Floyd loves using these terms with uneducated guys like Saul Alvarez and Marcos Maidana, who have no idea that Floyd is a con artist.

Years ago, when Larry Holmes tried to use the same trick on Gerry Kooney, Gerry's manager said "We want a 50-50 split, because you can't generate big money without Gerry Kooney". And he got the 50-50 split.

If Canelo had been smart enough, he could have got the same from Floyd. :deal

 

So you believe Cinco de Mayo is some kind of national Mexican holiday? I live in San Diego. Lots of Mexicans here. Mexico is about 20 minutes south. I have Mexicans friends who pitch in on PPV. They ALL would rather see Floyd-Pac than Canelo-Cotto on May 2nd.

I believe that you believe that Floyd has always wanted the fight with Manny. Hell, Manny has even been his mandatory and Floyd has dropped a belt to avoid him.

It's clear to anyone that is a neutral that Floyd doesn't want the fight. I mean where are all the HOF'ers and ATG's saying that Manny is ducking Floyd? Now turn that on it's head and many ex-fighters say that Floyd is ducking.

Besides, if your moniker is "Money" why would you turn down the biggest pay day of your career? Floyd could have made $100+ million for ONE fight with Manny but chose the likes of Ortiz for $32 mill? Why have three fights to make that much when you can do it in one hit? Wake up...

Yes I do believe Floyd has tried to make this fight 2X (30 day cutoff, outdoor stadium, mystery six month cut) before and 3X now (May 2nd is Mexican holiday). FACT! Pac/Arum are constantly making excuses and you fan boys have selective memory.
