But Floyd is just as much to blame, too, though. WTF difference does it make if it's May 2 or if it's on Showtime or they do a joint with HBO?

Doesn't look like it. There are too many holidays to disrepect somebody. How will Arum dodge all the world's holidays?

Floyd dosent have any say on weather or not HBO will be involved. That's just a bunch of b.s talking and yes I agree he has had his share of blame. But he has been fighting on may 5th for a while now, its nothing new. Obviously there's been some benefit in it for him. Its known as a big boxing date., as a Mexican I would much rather have pac vs may next and I know I speak for a lot of us.

Both need to fight each other next, no more jerking each other off. First PAC fans were "why is Floyd so quiet, pac can fight him may 5" now arum pulls this excuse out of a hat and the people who defend this are the same people who give Bob leverage to do this. Let's just get the fight done. May is a better month then June or April when a lot of people are still in school etc.

I understand that, and that's one of the reasons Pac should be out there saying "I don't give a flying fuk when the fight takes place - I want Floyd, and I want him next no matter what the date, and I'm gonna tell Bob Arum just that!"

But Floyd shouldn't care about the date either. He should care more about making the fight!

Neither one of these ***s - Pac or Floyd - seems the least bit interested in aggressively pursuing the fight. It's truly pathetic.

    I agree with this. :thumbsup

But the truth is, this latest BS is just another example of the fact that NEITHER GUY wants the fight.

Very well put.. Every small thing that he does would get blown out of proportion.. I seen an article that read "Floyd Mayweather pays for murders funeral" and how people are disgusted at him paying his respects ignoring the fact that they all were good friends.. If my best friend killed his wife and himself, I'm not going to act like the years we spent together didn't exist because of what he did...

C'mon now Rums you know very well that if Paquaio agreed to everything he may as well just say "Give Floyd the win"
As it is Floyd would never fight him without having his Vegas homies behind him Bayless to be his protector, the renowned Vegas judges too, along with the Nevada Commission (Vegas) letting Floyd make up his own rules.
If Floyd is half the fighter he claims he is he'd fight Manny on a level playing field & may the best man win. But we know he'll never do that. I have no respect for Floyd at all

ROFLMAO Floyd refuses to fight anywhere but Vegas. He knows he cannot really lose there

Pacquiao seemed to be saying the right things at first this time, but I just wish I'd see more from him (or Floyd) to actively make the fight.

Floyd always has some bogus condition. Then Arum comes out and counters his bogus condition with his own dose of bogusness. Then Pac goes silent, Bob & Floyd have their Mexican standoff battle of egos, and it dissipates.

If Pac REALLY wants to go after the fight, he needs to go out there publicly screaming "I want him anywhere, any time, any place, any date - and I'm telling my promoter it's that or nothing".

I just wish one of these greedy *******s would take a page from Creed's book in Rocky 2.

Judging by that post YOU are just as low class as Mayweather himself. My dear Mother & Father are in Heaven & you are lucky youre not within reach of me. No one disrespects my Mother

If the judges weren't in Floyds pocket it would read

    $$$$$$$$ 45-2. $$$$$$

Because Manny knows the fight never going to happen. Why should he say that it will just ruin his promoters bigger payday for the Cotto-Canelo fight.

Again like I said so many times floyd using Manny as leverage to get the date. If he got the date for Manny and him, another excuse will take its place and the negotiation will end. Mayweather will be very happy he got the date and a bigger ppv numbers for his next WWE fight fighting whatever bum he see fit.

I know you American and Im taking that into consideration for you lack of brain power but come on. This is not hard to figure out

    Seriously?

WTF kind of logic is that? Pac should refrain from doing everything in his power to get Floyd in the ring, so that... his promoter can make a bigger payday involving other fighters?

Yeah! That makes sense as a valid reason to not GO AFTER the biggest fight in boxing history!

Yeah they're personalities won't let them make the deal. Floyd is a boderline sociopath (I'm exaggerating for emphasis) and Manny is borderline aspergers (again exaggeration). Between Manny's nervous laughter and deference to Arum and Floyds control freak insecurity, it doesn't seem like they'll ever agree.

They been trying for 5 years. Manny even been in a ****ing commercial calling him out. They just offered floyd 110mil dollars. The fight never going to happen. Everyone knows it. The only one who dont is apparently the Mayweather fan base because they cant come to terms that there idol is a *****..

The fight will never happen. Do I wish it to happen **** yes. But 5 years of floyd roadblocks and his bull**** like : "I have to protect my health" tells me everything I need to know
