Mayweather as a habit of calling dates out that are unrealistic, he did it with Khan too asking him to fight in Ramadan. You just keep looking after your 0 Duckweather.

Mayweather first entered the P4P list in 1998 after his FOTY-caliber year picking up the lineal 130 title from Genaro and defending it.

Pacquiao first entered the P4P list in 2003 so he's the next one worth mentioning, though half a decade later than Floyds' consensus recognition on "P4P" lists.

^ it is interesting to see who else was near the top in 1998 and to think that one of them is still king 16+ years later.

cotto-canelo has been discussed for fight date of may 2 for the last 6 months. we don't know if floyd has plans of fighting next until he was forced by pac to accept his challenge. So virtually, cotto-canelo was set on the date and floyd knew that arum wouldn't want two of his cards getting head-to-head.

Aside form Cotto-Canelo was almost set at the date, they need the date more than a pac-floyd fight which would be as big as it is even wthout the date. so what's the problem if the pac-floyd fight is held in any other 51 weekends aside from the cotto-canelo date?

I know what's the problem, this is floyd's first of his countless demands and if i'm oscar, arum, canelo and cotto, i would not move the date for some empty floyd threats or demands unless he is truly interested in fightng pacquiao. statements like "I would not let pac get $40M this time" and "He has to bow down to me" doesn't look like like floyd is interested in really fighting pacquiao.

Somebody tell Algieri that we are now entering Round 2 of his bout with Manny Pacquiao. "We're right where we want to be..."

that is true asking khan to fight on ramadan is pretty silly. but how about may 2nd for pac i mean he has held the cinco date for years now and even around maidana 1 he stated what dates he would be fighting before he retires (for instance we know he plans his last fight in september 15)

    is it unreasonable ?

6 months? jesus well the fight is taking just as long to sign as may v pac because the fight has yet to be signed... also if floyd dont think pacs getting 40m he has other things coming cbs allready offered pac 40m with 30% or 35% upside to which arum immediately declined (with no counter offer suprise suprise) cbs and showtime want the fight to happen more then anyone from a business side of things, they arent making the money on floyd they had hoped for yet are contracted to pay floyd the same ammount weather or not he brings in the profit or not so they have no reason to lie, but after trying to make the fight with arum the ceo of cbs quickly took to twitter to make it known how much of a rat bob arum is.

seems like your boys promoter is putting up roadblocks again (and ill be the first to say it I WAS WRONG i legit thought arum wanted it this time)

this is true. floyd knows what demands are sticking points in making a fight. flom0s still defend his bullshiets though

Pacquiao has been on the current pound for pound list since he beat Barrera in 2003, Mayweather since he beat Marquez in 2009. I think I know who's winning.

Actually scrub that, he's been on it since he beat Ortiz in 2011. He was more than one year inactive going into that fight.

so basically this is what the flom0s think: Arum and Oscar has the May 2 date set with a great card, Floyd demands that he fights on that date, so Arum is the one putting road blocks?

You still didn't answer what is wrong with making the fight in April or better June aside from Floyd mayweather doesn't want those dates?
