Basically I will say it in a nutshell. As long as you have defeated or at least fought every type of mainstream boxing style ethnically at your level IN THEIR PRIME, you will be respected by me! That is just my belief as a boxing fan. Deep down I think many feel the way I do.

Gene Tunney is penalized in history because he drew the color line. Jack Johnson is penalized because he didn't defend his title against black fighters even though he fought them before he won the title. Marciano is respected by me because he beat African American fighters. Any elite fighter imo has to have fought every mainstream style of boxing. Pac has not faced an elite black or white fighter...and therefore is NOT pfp #1 on my list. As long as Floyd is out of boxing...right now Joe Calzaghe is the best pfp fighter in the world. as much as i want pac to fight african-american fighters, there were no availabe one at those times in his weight class. mexicans were the tough guys during those times. but now at 140, i hope to see him trade punches with black and white fighters

My post does not just focus on African American fighters. One black fighter I thought he should've faced was Guzman. I'm still wondering to this day how they had Guzman face Soto in which Guzman was being groomed for PAc, and they never fought.
