Do they should sit around and wait for over 7 months? That's a long time...

    I can already see it...

Floyd discussing the Khan fight with Roger & his dad...both will be talking sht like "Yeah I wanna see you whoop Khan's ass"

in training camp: "yeah all you have to do to beat him is this...."

Come fight night Khan is picking him off and winning the rounds...Floyd is in the corner looking slightly confused with Roger or Floyd Sr giving useless advice...

Floyd slowly adjusts on his own accord and starts taking rounds off Khan having to dig deep and really use them old legs of his. Problem is the fight is looking close and possibly favourable for Khan by the end!

That bieng said..I don't think Floyd takes the fight with either Pac or Khan...

Nothing is wrong with Apr or Jun.

    Except...............

Floyd said May 2. Manny says any time any place. ODLH says we will move if Pac/Floyd is made.

    :deal

So what's the problem with May?

In terms of the build up and significance to this era, probably top 5.

He needs an account here on ESB. Boxing knowledge wise, he'd fit right in.

Funny, people on ESB used to b!tch and complain about Mayweather fighting only once a year. Now they want him to artificially delay the biggest fight that can be made.

    Progress, I guess. :conf

September date won't work for Arum either since now Arum is on a holy quest to guarantee only Mexican fighters fight on what he calls "Mexican fight dates."

First weekend of May maximizes the revenue. It is logical no matter where your agenda falls.

My point is...a Pac/Floyd fight, the date will not matter.

He doesn't want to fight Manny. He just wants to troll the boxing public to keep his stock up and possibly mess up Top Rank and Goldenboy's plans for fights around that date like the Cotto/Canelo bout. His pay per view sales have been artificially inflated by the Pacquiao rivalry for four or five years now. I think hanging out the possibility of a Pacquiao/Mayweather bout somewhere down the line increases the sales of both fighters fights by a couple of hundred thousand each time, since it keeps the fans of either fighter watching "the future opponent's" bouts.

Still behind a few fights historically starting obviously with the three fights billed as "Fight of the Century" in Louis vs. Schmeling II, Johnson vs. Jeffries, Ali vs. Frazier I...

2010 Mayweather vs. Pacquiao would have been much more significant than 2015 Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

As far as money goes, in my opinion it would clearly break Mayweather/Alvarez from an overall revenue and gate point of view as well as breaking Mayweather/Oscar for individual PPV units sold.
