I'd like to see his top 20. I'm betting he'll sneak Danny Garcia and Wilder on there somewhere.

    Not talking about greatest

I'm talking about just skills, the eye test.

    Floyd's skills are unparalleled. :thumbsup

I think in terms of talent and ability, Floyd is up there with the very best.

It's a shame he didn't fight everyone. If he did fight and beat Pacquiao, prime Cotto, Prime Mosley (It should be noted that he DID call Mosley out), and Margarito, he'd probably be a top 10-15 ATG.

MVC, I don't think many will argue with you that Floyd is one of the most talented fighters ever. But the fact that he didn't fight the guys listed above DOES hurt his legacy.

When you look at the caliber of fighters he has faced, its nothing to write home about. Of course he has amazing skills, but he is rarely matched up with anyone that remotely has a chance.
He may have one of the best defenses of all time, but there has been much better offensive fighters than Floyd. This duck, throw one punch routine doesn't stand up to great fighters who throw amazing combo's and have lethal power like Oscar did, Roy Jones, etc.
Put Floyd right now, with the 90s fighters, I have half a dozen guys beating him.

Yawn. We've heard this before, he and Arum will find a way to weasel out of the fight, as usual.

    Don't get your hopes up.

    ....

Pac fought on CDM a few years back.:patsch

    That's because ydksab.

This man matches up with Ray Robinson, fab 4, etc.

He could win vs any of them in a very close competitive fight.

Of course there's a chance May loses but I believe he has advantages vs any man in the history of the sport.

If he went up to 160 and fought Hagler, that's a bit tricky imo.

On one hand you have Pac asking for the fight. On the other you have silence and a whole lot of failmos blaming the guy actually asking for the fight. Makes perfect sense.

Pacquiao wants the fight more. Pacquiao hasn't complained about May 2nd, Bob Arum has. Floyd on the other hand doesn't seem as enthuastic as Manny Pacquiao in making the fight happen. At this moment of the time, Pacquiao seems more confident than Floyd.

Of course. Floyd isn't the only great boxer that has retired from boxing and nor will he be the last. Boxing continues.
