Instead of saying "why are you always defending Floyd, Alex?". A better question is why do some people attack him unjustly?

He made a statement saying that he wants the fight and they are trying but it's difficult, basically confirming what Arum said. And people pretend like he's making excuses.

If Floyd said "I've agreed to terms, we are waiting on the networks now", Constable would say "now he's using Showtime as a scapegoat!"

    Bunch of idiots.

:deal This... The ****s who are obsessed with Pac can not be reasoned with. Common sense tells you without Showtime and HBO coming to an agreement they will be no fight but obvious to the Pac****s are on here saying that Manny has agreed to everything but has Arum Top Rank and HBO done the same? The puppet can say what it wants but unless the puppeteer makes him move all Manny can do is talk.

So now because Manny has a promoter, he's not allowed to agree to all of the terms you laid out for the fight?

Let's overlook the fact that Arum is on record he agreed to the 60/40 split, the May 2nd date (Even though he wanted the date for the Canelo-Cotto fight), the MGM Grand venue (despite his beef with them), the drug testing protocol, the gloves, etc. What's it gonna take Floyd?

And good to know who to blame for the Cotto fight that's been negotiated for the past few weeks/months. Floyd's the boss, he made the call to duck Manny and fight his leftovers for a second time.

    Why not???

If Alfred GGG Newman had been facing equally experienced fighters then I would think differently.

Simply put...he is not on Cotto's level !!!

So I guess you are sitting in on the negotiations and know what is really happening?

I know one boxer keeps coming up with reasons and demands and every demand makes it another obstacle to make the fighter harder to make. I know that, because Floyds team admits the demands they make. Latest one was to make sure Bob Arum is not part of the negotiations. All you ever hear is that Pacquaio is not the A-side. Yes, Pacquiao might not be the A-side compared to Floyd right now, but he's not exactly a journeyman, he's a p4p great boxer and his own legacy that is not far from Floyd's. It's ridiculous.

Pacquiao trolling hard on Twitter, he says:

"I believe I can easily bet Floyd."
"If you care about the fans then fight me."

Emphasizing that Pac has no say so, so whatever he says is irrelevant. And being his "own boss" doesn't mean he can snap his fingers and make it happen. He's not Pacquiao's boss, or Arum's, or Showtime's, or HBO's.
