If Floyd announces a Cotto fight before Pac's "deadline" then that's confirmation that no one can deny.

That's BS. You really think Floyd would say something to Ariza? He has said multiple times that Ariza is not on the Money Team.

Pretty foolish that Floyd would call and confide in Ariza over members of his actual team. And if their plan is to make a big Super Bowl announcement, then he would do everything he can to not let on about the fight.

You're jumping the gun on this one.

I believe that Constable and his stablemates WANT Mayweather to fight Cotto next so they can continue to talk trash about him running from their favorite fighter, making Pacquiao #1 by default.

Which would you rather have: You're favorite fighter lose to someone you hate? Or the person you hate run from your favorite fighter?

You gotta tune that **** out. Too easy to separate the decent posters from the guys who spend at least 300 posts a day being trolls. Can't take someone serious when they daily contribution to this forum is to get banned and switch alts.

Fair enough. But let me ask you this. What incentive does Arum have to NOT make this fight happen? Even that guy realizes Pac has only a few fights left.

It's Floyd man. He simply doesn't want it and never did.

Arum absolutely HATES Mayweather more than words can describe. He has said in the past he does not want to do business with him. How can you forget the excuses thrown out by Arum??

    -Needles make him weak
    -Need more time to heal
-Need to build an arena first
-Cinco De Mayo is for Mexicans

At this point, no incentive. The window is closing. His fighter is expected to lose so like any promoter would, he'll put it on ice until it's right for his pockets.

Gee, didn't know you could look inside the mind of Arum and see just how much he hates Floyd. I always thought Floyd hated Arum because of how things went down and not the other way around.

But anyways, if it makes you feel better thinking that it was always Arum preventing this fight, all power to ya.

If Arum really hated Floyd and didn't want anything to do with him, then he wouldn't have spent the last 2 months negotiating with him.

He has publically stated his hate. They are at the point now where the business side takes over and it would be foolish to not try to get that money.

I think Arum and Mayweather purposely stalled this to the end of their careers. Pacquaio down to a couple of fights so no big loss for Arum if he loses. Mayweather can go into retirement with a couple hundred million dollars.

Win Win for both. If it doesn't happen we will have a different conversation...
