He knew the oNly way to compete against the Canelo Cotto fight was to fight Manny and force them to move the date. It's all a matter of pride for Floyd


But instead of actually fighting Manny he decided to fight Cotto so that Canelo had no way to compete.

Canelo knew all along that Floyd was not gonna fight Manny so he was insisting Cotto to sign the contract . But Cotto was on the fence all the time because of course he is going to accept another shot at Floyd since it's much worst for him to lose to an up and coming fighter than the best in the world.


Floyd was never gonna fight Manny, he just made it seem that way so that Canelo and Cotto would get pressured into moving off the day.

Irk about you guys but Floyd fooled us once again plus he sabotaged the Canelo Cotto fight.


Whoever pays for Cotto Floyd 2 is restarted irá gonna be a rehashed fight.

Idk, I think it's worse than that! I've heard one of them say the reason that they spread so much negativity about Floyd is because they're doing a "service" or it's their "duty" or some weird ****. Made it sound like a cult or job. This dude says "we" as though he's in Pac's corner and "war" like it's that damn serious.

I always felt weird talking about my team as though I'm playing with them lol. And I like Mayweather but we ain't buddies.

 

I think Canelo sabotaged the Cotto fight by insisting that it be on May 2nd, the date Floyd has fought on SHO and giving the biggest diva in the sport, Cotto, a hard deadline. Who the F does cinnabum think he is?

Canelo is not exactly high on my PPV list after Floyd schooled him. Canelo is a pretender as far as I'm concerned.

As for Manny/Floyd I still have a feeling we will be surprised. I remember when Floyd fought Canelo, everyone was SURE it was going to be Alexander.

 

And Pacquiao is playing along too. I honestly believe they're just stringing us along. The more people say Floyd is scared, the more PPVs they get when/if they sign. Floyd won't retire without facing Pac, too much to lose.

I've been saying that all along. Floyd had no intention of fighting Manny, just wanted to screw up the Cotto-Canelo fight. That is how he does business. Can't even blame Cotto if he fights him, more money, no chance of getting hurt.

Anyone have any idea what it might be? Cause all I hear is arum is blocking the fight. Arum can be an idiot but his resume speaks for itself. He has been involved in majority of the sports mega fights. The guy is in the game to make money.

He has been very vocal about wanting to make the fight, is in negotiations with CBS. Meanwhile Mayweather always seems to make it hard yet some people still blame arum because floyd said so without being clear how.

 

Why would Arum want this fight?

He owes the Venetian 4 fights (Pac to be on all of those cards)

If Pac loses here to May, then the investment turns into dung, you catch my drift?

He already got 120 million from The Venetian, he's going to protect his investment for as long as possible.

 

Arum has made huge fights with other promoters in the past that he has animosity with more so than with Mayweather. Arum understands that this is a business and you can't make it personal in order to be successful.

Floyd on the other hand feels like the sport should grovel to him.
