In L.A. a spring roll can cost you between $7-$10 dollars.

Or were you referring to LA as in Louisiana, because I don't know how much spring rolls are in the land of the creoles.

Judah had skill, no question, but as most of us know its about more than just reach and skill. The mental part of the game is more important than the physical.

There is a reason why many of us refer to Zab Judah as a mental midget.

Good points... Hard work too in elucidating those points. I hope you are right. It makes a lot of sense, though I give you that. If I were in a jury, good closing argument. Lol.

I agree with a lot of what abuffy said. The only thing I disagree with is the bit about little promotional time. Four weeks is more than enough time to promote the fight. Lets be honest the tours that the fighters go on to promote a fight are never longer than a week anyway.

Like title says, I hate to admit I kind of got my hopes up for Floyd vs Pac, but seeing as it may not happen (most likely not) which do you think is the better fight?

I my self prefer khan vs Pac, this fight offers a new test for Manny. Though some will claim that khan has a egg shell chin, he still has decent power and exceptional hand speed. Also, I don't think his chin is as bad as people say, he has just been hit good right on the spot.

Cotto vs Floyd? Let's get real, neither will make it to 160 and its a disgrace to the fighters who actually compete there (as ridiculous as Manny vs margacheto @ 154 for title). Also, I don't buy that cotto is a new and "improved" under roach. The upside to this, is that I think cotto will put up a fight, but will get outclassed again. This fight in my opinion offers nothing new, and its drawing power is having 2 big name fighters.

Actually good point. Because last year, Floyd announced he was fighting Maidana on Feb 25 to fight on May 3rd. Does he do 2 months of training? If so...did they even have a promotional tour? Lol

Still, I feel because of the other 2 points (how's it's unwanted and fans will be declaring "floydcott") I feel, he would need more time than a month to get fans on board with that fight.

He would have to wait for the anger to pass, get forgiveness, then convince them of Cotto. That's a lot of work!! No Garuantee that fans would have subsided their anger by May. Lol

Manny Pacquiao is 80 per cent certain Floyd Mayweather will fight him on May 2

    Last Updated: 26/01/15 8:24pm

Manny Pacquiao is almost certain his showdown with Floyd Mayweather will happen this spring - but warned of the consequences if it doesn't.

Pacquiao's advisors claim to have agreed to fight Mayweather in Las Vegas on May 2 having accepted the terms and conditions laid out by the American.

Mayweather's team, amid talk of a rematch with Miguel Cotto, insist there is no contract drawn up but are expected to make an announcement this weekend on Super Bowl Sunday.

And Pacquiao - who claims he will gladly accept a smaller percentage of the purse to force the fight through - hinted it was now or never for potentially the richest fight in boxing history.

"I think it will happen, I believe that," he told Ringside Special, which you can see at 10.15pm on Wednesday January 28 on Sky Sports 1.

"If this doesn't happen now I don't think it will, so now is the time.

"If you ask me what the percentage is, it's 80-20 [that it will happen].

"I think he's got pressure. He's got no alibi - blood testing is no longer a problem, Bob Arum the promoter is no longer a problem, now there are no more problems.

"The fans are pressuring him. I tell them we have agreed everything, the rules and regulations are not a problem.

"And if you want it higher, I am happy with that. I will take 40 [per cent of the purse] to 60. I'm OK with that - for the sake of the fans.

"We are just waiting for you to sign the contract."

Pacquiao and Mayweather were on course to fight as far back as 2011 before the issue of blood testing came between them, when Mayweather claimed that while he was happy to be tested randomly, his rival was not.

But with Pacquiao now adamant it will not get in the way of a massive showdown, the Filipino believes his rival's legacy will be damaged if they do not square up in the ring.

"If he doesn't want to fight in his boxing career it is bad for him," he said. "But if he wants to fight, that is the best thing he can do."

Find out more from Manny Pacquiao in an hour-long special at 10.15pm, Wednesday, Sky Sports 1, when he tells us all about his life out of the ring and of course, his stunning career... @SkySportsBoxing #Ringside
