Oh I know. In the end it doesn't matter who has more fans. If your fans aren't buying your fights, you're not making as much.

Yeah, that's why I think Floyd is a clever businessman, like him or hate him, people are still paying to see him.

Duckys legacy as a atg is secure. Ducky just wants to keep his zero along with 50 wins. Ducky is not interested in legacy building or fan pleasing. Ducky just wants to retire now.

That's why he doesn't care about the biggest fight in boxing history.
He's going to make equivalent money over the next 2 yrs from this NBC deal.
If this is true it's a straight power move and will be very hard to hate on.

    :deal

i mean it sounds good but like..... for me... floyd has proved his greatness already. Fighting Lara would just be something extra freaky like Lara jumping up to fight bernard hopkins. When does it stop?

:good That's good insight and I happen to think the same way because regardless of what people say, Mayweather's main focus is money forever. Mayweather has had payback in his heart ever since that dam fool Arum tried to dog him out and Oscar tried to treat him as a underling. Then HBO tried to use him up, even after he gave them 24/7.

He made money for all three of those entities, Arum, Oscar, and HBO. When they tried to play him and mess with his paper, he moved on. People try and portray him as dumb but those moves were not the moves of a dummy. Pac is the dummy. Fiddy, and Miss Jackson thought the same thing and they're kicked to the curb.

Don't know the deal with Ellerbe but I don't think he tried to play Mayweather. Probably a difference on which way to move forward. Al is the only man with a vision big enough to be on par with what Mayweather has also envisioned. Plus he's a straight laced individual that don't play games is all about that money.

Mayweather don't need Pac, Arum, Oscar or that fight. It's not about Pac however but Arum. He will never give Arum the satisfaction of pocketing another nickel from the fruits of his labor. Him and Big Al is about to blow the fck up and it don't stop.

Mayweather ain't what he used to be. He was in a competitive fight with a guy like Maidana not long ago. The pac fight is still interesting because they both have faded.
