Frustrating that everyone is working hard to get this fight done, and Floyd is chilling in Jamaica and traveling. Makes you question if he's taking this whole thing seriously. I mean, he does realize May 2nd is only like 12 weeks away?

 

Anything other than announcing a fight vs PAC man on May 2nd will just sound like verbal diarrhoea to me

0% chance. ZERO PERCENT CHANCE this fight is announced tonight. Zero. Zip. Nada. Everyone who actually is involved or knows people who are involved are saying there is no chance it is announced. Still big hurdles to be crossed regarding Networks.

 

What about Stephen Espinoza, Bob Arum, Michael Koncz, Floyd Mayweather, Lance Pugmire, Kevin Iole, and Chris Mannix who are also saying there is 0% chance.

 

Abuffy I can assure you skysports wouldn't have made it up. They are a respectable news channel. They would have gotten wind from someone they respect as a source for them to tweet that.

Makes sense. No one will buy their PPV if they don't agree to fight, so they both fight bus drivers in May (which everyone will buy if there is an agreement for September) and boom, all done.

I feel like this is what will happen. Hope not but just over 2 and a half months (if it gets announced by the end of next week) until the biggest fight in recent history? starting to feel unlikely.

I thought the same but then amir was on scene today saying the mayweather situation is crazy etc... & that he has no idea whats going on and floyd likes to leave people waiting... and theyv done no paperwork or anything so would be unusual

 

Skysports is closer to this than the people I've mentioned above?? All Super Bowl commercial blocks were sold out months ago before they even started negotiating. Superbowl is on NBC, not CBS. Floyd is vacationing. All reputable sources (besides ONE that's not even in America) is saying 0% chance. Floyd himself said 0% chance. There is NO CHANCE. The logistics don't add up, and people are verifying that.
