Espinoa is probably telling the truth so no harm there but i think most people believe that the ones holding up the fight are Showtime and Floyd so they take most of the heat.

I know Arum is a business man and stirs things up by making public comments but i really believe Arum is fed up with this all and just wants it done. Pacquiao seems to be agreeing to every demand and just wants it done too. I really don't feel it's the same for Showtime and floyd because they consider themselves the 'A' side and want to make sure they get the better out of this deal. What this means is that they are probably constantly shuffling demands and asking for more here and there whilst HBO/Arum are probably wanting equal terms where they can get it. If Showtime and Floyd agreed to equal terms on everything, i think this would've gotten done long time ago. I think this A vs B side is really dumb, i know it's business, but for the sake of the sport and the fans, 50/50 and equal terms on everything would still be a win for Floyd and Showtime; more importantly, a win for fans and the sport.

this is what i really think is at the crux of the issues, just look at what Espinoza tweeted recently 'IF SHO AND FLOYD GET THEIR WAY, WE'LL HAVE THE BIGGEST FIGHT IN HISTORY ON MAY 2ND'. Basically, we will need to come out as winners over TR/HBO..WHY? just get the deal done and stop trying to squeeze the other side. This is more like an A vs A- side so just be fair.

You can't blame them for trying to get the bigger split, I too believe that's what it is. That's what it's always been between all of them. No fight is ever 50/50 and there's always an A side. Sucks but that's how it is. And of course HBO will except 50/50, that's the most they'll get otherwise.

Either way I hope they reach a deal, I don't care who gets what, as long as the fans get the fight.
