Will!!!! Mentality is going to decide this fight. Who has the stronger mental will to win? You have a lion and a tiger, who knows. That's going to be the most amazing aspect of this fight. The two best who believe they're both the best. There can only be one, though! xD

khan is 'warning' people that mayweather-pacquiao may be boring fight. He needs to SHUT THE **** UP, why try and pour cold water over the excitement just because he wants to fight either of them. Let the fight happen, it's good for boxing and i'm sure that Pacquiao - Mayweather would be more exciting than Khan-Mayweather? WHY? cause Pacquiao has ALWAYS been more exciting than Khan...

Khan is just salty that he is losing the little attention that he once he had. He was promised both and now he gets neither. He likes attention and now not a single person will breath his name after next week.

Khan doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as either of them. I very much doubt this fight will be boring, I should think the atmosphere will be nothing short of electric. Just wish it was 15 rounds and we could have another SRL vs. Duran 1.

You can't compare wladimir with Floyd.

Wladimir hasn't taken on anyone of note his entire career. He hasn't even had one fight with a hall of fame fighter. Also he's a super heavyweight that's been fighting men much smaller than him his entire career

Floyd has fought around ten hall of fame fighters and is currently boxing in his 4th and 5th weight divisions. aside from both of them having lengthy, dominant reigns, they have absolutely nothing in common whatsoever as far as the content of fighters during their period as champs.

The best part of this deal being complete: Amir Khan has stopped begging like Keith Sweat.

While I commend your ****ysis on how Mayweather- pacman would play out, I don't agree with a good majority of your reasoning behind it.

There's several major differences between pacman and maidana. Marcos isn't as short as pacman nor does he have a 5 inch reach disadvantage compared to mayweather. Those overhand rights Marcos was landing intermittently in the first 6 rounds of the first fight were primarily targeting the back of floyds head (the nape region.) these are extremely illegal blows and he was never infracted for them accordingly. Pacmans reach won't allow him the opportunity to land that overhand right in a similar manner to how marcos was landing them. It's simple anatomy and physiology.

If you think Floyd will fight pacman in the same manner he fought Marcos for the first half of their first fight, than i don't know what to tell you. I can guarantee you Mayweather will not be playing possum on the ropes.

And floyds footwork looks ok to me. He utilized his footwork much better in his second fight with maidana, and aside from the first 6 rounds of their first fight, I cant think of an example where floyds legs look shot.

Did his footwork look shot when he manhandled Canelo alvarez? Or how about after his 1 plus year layoff and a jail stint when he took on Guerrero? Or how about his second matchup with Marcos? His footwork looked pretty dam good even as recently as than.

I don't think manny or Floyd are shot whatsoever, if they were than they've done a helluva job fooling everyone into thinking that because at this current juncture, IMO, they're still 2 of the very best pound for pound.

The worst part is, I would think Pac and May will get a rematch at the end of the year. If they both win 1 fight each, it most likely will go to a 3rd deciding fight. Khans best chance of fighting one of them will be in 2016. But I wouldn't be surprised if both Pac and May retire after facing each other.

That's a good point. I am a fan of both Floyd and Manny (bigger Floyd fan), and have to admit that Mayweather's age seems to be creeping on him.

Manny's recent record is a bit deceiving because the only valid recent loss was the one to Marquez where he simply got caught due to his sometimes reckless style. I don't even count the Bradley loss because that was clear robbery. One thing that is clear is that he has not had the KO power since Ariza left. Not saying he was roiding; it could have just been the quality of the conditioning he was receiving. So while his movement and speed still look sharp, he seems to now lack the power. This could hurt him because it will be difficult to walk away with a decision.

Floyd on the other hand, looked slower and less mobile recently. He rarely has KOs so not even going to bring up loss in power. Floyd still had his timing though against Maidana which will be key against Pacquiao. Plus he has a solid chin. That shot he took against Maidana would have dropped most fighters, and most probably still would have been wobbly when the next round started. Mayweather can take a shot and has a pretty quick recovery (apparent in shots he took from Maidana and Mosley). This is probably because he's avoided big shots for most of his career. With Ariza joining his team for conditioning (this is yet to be confirmed), and his excellent timing/counter punching, he can very well catch Pac with something big if he comes in reckless.

Five years ago I thought this would be an easy victory for Floyd due to his speed, athleticism, counter punching, and ability to adjust; but now I have the fight being closer. I think Floyd will still adjust and pull off a decision, but anything is definitely possible since the older Floyd seems to have aged a bit recently.

I agree with this. There seems to be a massive misunderstanding of the technical side of this fight. The X factor will not be Floyd or Manny's testosterone levels, it will be the countless glaring deficiencies in Pacquiao's game. While Pac's in and out footwork is very effective it will not be effective against Floyd's lateral movement. Pac does not necessarily have trouble with movers, moreso fighters that display good lateral movement i.e. Morales and Bradley showed this somewhat in their fights against Pac. Floyd has shown top level distance control partnered with the increased use of his jab in recent fights. Pac throws lazy jabs or jabs to set up his left. It will play a big factor on this fight. Pac isn't as good at cutting off the ring as people would think. While he is a swarmer of sorts his game does not hinge on his opponents being on the ropes all night. He won't be able to cut off the ring against Floyd nor will he muscle him to the ropes like Maidana was able to. If he does manage to catch Floyd on the ropes he'll be in trouble. Morales showed us that Pac is open for lead right hands and he can be tagged off the break. Best believe Floyd will be timing Manny by the fourth round. Last but not least, Floyd will step into the pocket any chance he gets and attempt to land short hooks on the inside. While this may not happen due to Pac's preference of midrange/outside fighting, I could see Floyd stopping him if he can continually close the distance. Don't sleep on Floyd's body punching in this fight either.
