Stephen Espinoza, the Showtime Sports boss, said in a statement:

"Everyone involved, including Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, knows this fight simply had to happen. All of us are thrilled to be able to deliver this event to boxing fans around the world. Now, for the second time under his current deal with Showtime Networks, Floyd Mayweather has agreed to fight an opponent that many people thought he'd never face. We set an all-time pay-per-view record with the first event back in September 2013, and we look forward to another record-breaking performance on May 2."

Ken Hershman, the President, HBO Sports said: "Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have been the two most prominent fighters in the sport of boxing for the past decade, and fight fans around the world have been clamoring for them to face each other... May 2nd will be a signature moment for the sport of boxing and HBO Sports is thrilled to be a part of this spectacular event."

Just because Canelo's slow telegraphing ass couldn't lay a glove on him, doesn't mean Manny can't.

Canelo doesn't get many KOs because you can see his punches coming.

For a guy as strong as he is, you would expect more KOs, but it just doesn't happen, plus his feet are slow.

Pacquaio has super fast feet, super fast hands, and like a REAL G, he knows he can punch.

When you know you can hurt a mother ****er with your hands for real, you get extra confidence.

Pac is gonna come out there hard as a mother ****er and lay a beatin on that kid.

    You'll see.

Guerrero could counter Floyd EASILY, but he has no explosiveness, so he couldn't do ****, plus he was too slow to follow up.

Pac is gonna counter the hell outta his right hand and push Floyd defensive, and step around Floyd and lay combinations on his ass.

Also, Floyd won't be able to easily duck away from Pac's punches.

What's faster, an upper body or your hands???

Floyd lost just ENOUGH to where it makes a difference. I could see Guerrero just BARELY missing and sometimes landing flush.

Pac is gonna slice this dude up.

Just be ready to give him respect.

I dont think the fight will live upto the hype but that´s ok. I really think we going to see another Tyson vs Spinks. Ill watch Floyds facial expression very closely at the walk in. Trust me it will have the same look at Spinks
