In other words the simplest reason why any entity would protect IVboy is because they are paid great sums of money or they stand to lose a lot. You don't have to be a genius to see the money trail leading to USADA, or to see how Vegas would fail w/o that massive PPV bout. As if NSAC had nothing to lose...

• Rejected a $5 million dollar positive test penalty (Why?!!?!?)

• Paid USADA upfront more than $100K for testing that cost $30-50K for all other fights

• Waited for the last possible second to announce the fight (this was actually a condition for the fight being made - that HE got to announce it)... cycling!!!!!

• Shot up in his living room for a non-existent medical condition (severe dehydration) and then received a TUE 17 days after the fight

I'm sure they would have been better off financially if they just caught him cheating but whatever.. If they caught the great Floyd Mayweather cheating, they will be praised by the masses and would be THE best testing available.. Instead, they got a few hundred thousand to a million and be labeled as dirty.. All this for a retired fighter.. There's too many question marks to just say he paid everyone off so he can cheat and everyone knows it...

 

Not really. This is Sin City. I'm sure there's money stuff going on behind the scenes. Floyd was and continues to be a major revenue stream for USADA. I'm sure all PBC/Haymon fighters use USADA. Busting Lance didn't bring them more money. Working w/ Floyd did. TMT and Ellerbe once announced that all their fighters would undergo random drug testing 24/7/365. Of course, it never happened.

USADA would be embarrassed and lose what little credibility if they caught their great savior IVboy, since you know he was the one who pointed out the great evil Pacquiao was a doping cheater, and IVboy was the one who cut deals with USADA to bring USADA into boxing and clean up the sport from the evil Pacquiao.
