I'm not sure where you're hearing those rumors. I don't think Pacquiao has ever been ringside to a pro fight, and it'll almost be election time in his country then. Also, Mayweather rarely goes to fight if they're not under his promotion.

And just like that, not even 7 months into his retirement, the Best Ever (lol) is falling outside of the discussion. Its quiet now but imagine NEXT year when Floyd hits the big 4-0.

I personally dont talk much about Floyd. I give him his respect as he did beat Canelo with ease. I give him credit for beating pacman. I also give him credit for beating Cotto, Corrales, and Castillo part 2.

The last few years have been wack. The amount of clinching and running (yes mayweather literally runs Lara style at times). I hope he stays retired. For me, his best win was Canelo schooling. After that the fights just sucked. And you cant really blame him fighting in his upper 30s. Just stay out floyd.

 

I think I've been responsible for a lot of Mayweather threads lately, as well as baiting on other Mayweather threads. People aren't that bothered about Mayweather anymore.

Fair point. I was never a fan until post Hatton, and I miss the entertainment value albeit not all of it in the ring. Still, other divisions such as the heavyweights are starting to flourish again so in some respects it isn't too much of a shock.

 

Well what fight would anyone want to rewatch. It's not like you can just start watching his fights for fun like you would with Pacquiao.
