What does it matter what their drawing power was years ago when today they can both at minimal produce 500000+ viewers each? Is it really that hard to understand? Mayweather taking 70% from anyother fighter will still earn nowhere near the 50% he'd get for Pac.

 

The fight could generate more money for the fighters by having it in Dallas Stadium, however Floyd doesnt want to fight there. In that sense, Pac conceding to the fight being in Vegas means he is loosing out on money, because of Floyd.

Given the data we have to work with, like we do with all fights, FMJ would NOT be out of place asking for 55% no matter what Arum agrees to. This is the standard we would hold any fight negotiation to.

Vegas is the ONLY place for this fight. There are other venues but Dallas is like 3rd or 4th if you disregard taxes.

 

All you need to know is that Pac/Clottey had 50K people and Mayweather/SSM did 15K and the Mayweather/SSM fight did a bigger gate dollar wise. Nuff said.
