Floyd's PPV numbers are I think predominantly generated by the fact that he remains unbeaten and people tune in, not to watch him fight and dominate, but on the other hand desperately want to see that "0" go and for him to get a kicking! He differs from the fighters of yesteryear (and Pacman) in this respect, where the PPV viewings are as a result of a genuine liking for the fighter and the excitement in the fights.

If he fights Pacquiao there is a good chance he will lose, his mystique will go and he will no longer have the monopoly over the PPV and boxing as a whole. It will be his last fight. That said, Pacman has conceded to the 14 day cut-off and if Floyd presents another stumbling block it is arguable his legacy would be greater affected than if he did get in the ring and lose.
