I expect most pros to have no set routine, all varied depending on how the fighter feels, intensity of sparring and what the trainer wants to work on etc

Proper breathing increases endurance and even betters things like your punching power, speed etc. The trick is to learn to breath through the nose and not the mouth exclusively. It's very uncomfortable to do it and it needs training. I've heard some fighters say they had to learn to breath through their nose untill it became natural. What people tend to do is exhale and inhale through the mouth only.
Ward is a joy to watch. Probabily my favourite fighter right now. You just don't see some of the stuff he does often in todays game. He's a varitable smorgasbord of good techinques and little tricks. He blinds you with his lead hand and will hit you on the blind side of the referee. This content is protected He slides under over the top stuff. This content is protected He always tucks his chin and opens his glove to block punches. Staying compact at all times. Not losing shape or form. This content is protected Watch how he instictively knows to block what's coming back after he's finished his attack and getting out. Some fighters just admire their work and get caught. They don't do anything going out. This content is protected When i saw him doing these little things. Even if the opposition where not that good. I said to myself this kid is special. I anointed him after the Miranda fight.

I'm a huge fan of Holyfield, how he uses his footwork to set up counters & walks people onto shots by taking a half step backwards to create distance This content is protected GIFSoup This content is protected GIFSoup I love how fluid he was when he threw combinations & how well he maintained his balance This content is protected GIFSoup This content is protected GIFSoup
