:blood Either my sarcasm detector is broken or Flea Man is being nice? I've seen you school far too many noobs during my time here. I'm somewhat paranoid.
I was genuinely thinking about my recent posts: "What have I said that Flea will have taken exception to? Have I ragged on Thai strawweights? Have I called MMA gay entertainment?" Since i've misconstrued and you are being nice. :hi: Enjoy Thailand mate, beats being snowed in over here. (Lucky ****:twisted
I haven't seen you pop up for a while and it was a genuinely nice surprise :hi: And please, do terrorise straw weight, it's ****ing **** and pointless
You meaning two orthodox fighters ? Thats what i was referring too.... The above dont, they move left....clockwise.....generally......hence ma question.......or am i picking you up wrong ?
Move right, outside your opponents jab and away from anything other than a really wild right hand ;-)
Thats what i like to see and was originally asking about but how often you see it when its two orthodox fighters.....they generally move clockwise, no ? Thats how i used to move....as ya mentioned, orthodox but natural lefty.....i couldnt circle clockwise or move left.........kinda.........though i would step/move left when pivoting of a left hook.....or tried.
I'm getting baffled here. Spoke to HH about this before. I think to many Orthodox fighters fight inside there opponents lead hand. I'd slip and slide from outside of lead hand and change levels with my head.
Aye man, there was a thread ages ago about this....and/or we ended up on this type of topic.....slips reply to ma post looks a bit confusing, yes/no ?
I was originally asking if it was just me that notices that 90% of fights between orthodox fighters usually move left/clockwise. Maybe he was giving an answer which is of course slip outside the jab etc.....but of course ya gotta mix it up or you be walking into hooks to body/head. As mentioned, i remember or did.......a few fighters that were orthodox yet generally moved right......hmmmm Harry Simon ? Nah......but Harrison did am sure.......tryna think of others. Fs, this is way too much typing :nut
You've confused me, now. Sorry if my post was unclear. Generally, against another orthodox opponent you would move to the right to avoid the back hand as that's generally the power punch, but you can move both ways. It's actually better to not be predictable and move one way constantly. Say he has a really potent left hook then you wanna avoid that so you move to the left, but mix it up. If you move in one direction then a smart fighter will probabily figure you out and cut you off. It just depends on the fighters strengths but moving right mostly is the general rule. although you should move both ways in the fight according to where you are in time in the fight and against whom you're against.:good
I get it now, Yeah there are a few fighters who drift to there opponents right hand. I remember you mentioning Simon, we can analyse Harrison in this and Simon as well. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJYpgHAFLEk[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSRLXqJweu0&feature=related[/ame]
Ayes i knows, thats what i was getting at before though.......fighters do move left generally though ? Or so i noticed, maybe just me but yeah i hear ya and cheers for the words. :good
