Lennox at No.1? Do me a favour....

Ali, Tyson, Holmes, Liston, Frazier, Foreman would take him to the cleaners prime 4 prime without a single doubt in my mind...This is a guy who was getting whupped by Bruno and knocked out by two semi-decent HW

I'd take Jones to stop him as well, seeing as how a boxer like Leslie Stewart was able to give him problems and make him look bad with his slickness. Moorer wasn't exactly hard to push back himself, he was poor defensively and a good hitter would've put his lights out as long as they were able to keep a decent workrate and get in his face.

That's just an obvious stylistic problem for him, but he didn't have much offensive arsenal aside from his right hand and a straight left, which carried power sure, but not enough variety to give any top notch fighter too much difficulty.

Matthew Saad Muhammad would've taken him out, along with other LHW's of that era like Marvin Johnson(a more skilled southpaw). Victor Galindez would do the deed as well.

Precisely what I want to know.

And if he was getting attacked with quick shots in a close-up fight, I'd say the opponent is in more trouble than Mike if he's actually planning to trade bombs in close.

RJJ at LHW boxes rings round Moorer IMO.

Lewis would obliterate Frazier, come on.

He might.....Jones disadvantage is his size at LHW. Always was. If Moorer could keep the fight on the ropes and away from the middle of the ring, he could stop Jones. Jones could also simply outbox him, but he would be at risk in any exchange. He ran the same risk with Hall, but Hall didn't have Moorer's one punch power at LHW.

Jones is an ATG LHW, but the advantages he has over every fighter H2H get nullified the further he moves up not because of his style, but because of length and sheer mass.

Yeah I know. Tyson was a beast in his prime. He was just soo fast and powerful I just can't see anyone being able to punch with him and live to tell the tale.

Also all these people say that Ali could beat him must be on crack. Ali got everything he could handle from Norton, and more to the point barely beat Frazer. Personally, I don't see some one that had problems with Frazer's swarming style surviving against Tyson.

How do you think Leonard would handle SRR at WW? I have seen a few people rate him better at WW and wondered how they saw the fight going....

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I'm confident that, on their absolute best nights, Tarver beats Moorer close but clear. And I still think Jones at his best beats both of them.

I'll also go out on a limb and say that Joe Louis, who fought most of his career at 200 anyway, beats the living tar out of any modern cruiserweight.

Holyfield vs Moorer at CW is an interesting fight. I don't believe either fighter's style does them any favors. Holyfield was just solid all around with very fast hands for a CW. He also had a dynamite chin.

I'm always thought that a prime Muhammed Ali would beat anyone else in a H2H matchup. Can you explain as to why Tyson, Lewis or Holmes could beat him or how such fights would likely play out? Thanks
