    Fair enough. :good

When I'm say....sixty..I'll revisit the proposition. In the interim, I'll sally forth in my self imposed darkness (ie that you're an overwrought UK homer).

God, that's deep and profound. Your intellectual mastery of your subject matter and eloquence in general have left all of your fellow posters speechless and in awe. Or maybe your just an illiterate, uneducated punk unable to express himself in the English language. Yeah, probably the latter.

Yet another eloquent response. In the future do not take the Lord's name in vain. It is rude, undignified and sacreligious.

Jesus is a pretty chill guy, I'm sure he would be cool with it.

You sure do like the Klitschko's appendages though bro.

That's the truth. Yes, I believe much of the hate for the Klitschkos is due to racism. Many of the same guys that list Larry Holmes as a top 3-5 all time Heavyweight complain that Wladimir is all Jab & grab. The biggest difference between Larry & Wladimir is that Wlad has knockout power in both hands, Larry just plain doesn't. Larry's jab was fast & accurate but it didn't pack the same power as Wlad's. Larry didn't hook off of it either.

Oh hell, everyman wants guns like Wlad to impress the chicks. Actually, Jesus was not some impotent, Phil Donahue type dude. He was a powerful male leader who stood up to tyranny and died a horrible death for his beliefs.

You klit-ites don't half talk some bollocks at times :patsch

The biggest difference between WALDO and Holmes is that Holmes didn't get KO'd by bums in his prime, and that's it. Nothing to do with race whatsoever.

Holmes was appreciated (note I never said loved) because he never lost until he was a relatively old man and even then by close decision. He only got KO'd once against Tyson who is an elite fighter. Now compare those to WALDO's losses and you'll see why there's a certain indifference to the guy. If he were exciting then the losses could be glossed over because people actually enjoy watching his fights, but he isn't exciting he's boring as **** so the appeal just isn't there.

Maybe if he beats Haye this will change but I doubt it seeing as most Americans have never heard of Haye either.

Watch the jabbing clinic that Wlad puts on against Haye. He can snap it, range find with it & hook off it. Watch how the power of a simple jab can snap an opponents head back like a power punch. If you prefer straight rights or right crosses Wlad's are top notch. Just ask Calvin Brock or Samuel Peter. Left hook fan? Check out the hook off the jab which is deceptive & powerful. His planted left hook counter is what first cracked Peter's mandible. Every fighter who fought Peter after that should thank Wlad for tapping that.

Actually, I agree with this post. Holmes was a true great. I think a Wlad fight with the venerable Holmes would have been a really exciting and a back and forth contest. Both fighters have height, long arms, powerful jabs and good speed for such big men. I just see Holmes taking Wlad deep and drowning him in the late rounds.

75% of this post is fair enough.

The part you're blissfully ignorant of is that Larry Holmes didn't produce the highlight reel KO's that the Klitschkos are famous for.

Yes, I'll admit, they take a bit too long to put them away SOMETIMES but let's face it, 90% of the time a KO is coming for the opposition.

The only reason Holmes didn't get knocked out sooner is because of the very weak division he fought in. That combined with the fact he was a smart fighter with a good jab & decent defense saved him.
