If the only reference you have, is the stars and stripes, then I guess they are in big trouble. Taylor never had any good wins since beating BHop, those 3 fluke defences, he should've lost against Winky. Lacy was crap, already exposed by JC, and that was his only victory recently. Ward and Direll fought nobody and are still very green, so they have to convince me during the tournament. I'm not saying they are dead meat, but now's the chance for them to prove themselves.

Being American doesn't add any higher chance to win this tournament. So don't say that because if they lose, then it will be only a disgrace to your country, with all dear respect;)

Well...sure. Except for Taylor the other two Americans are still pretty green on the championship stage. Abraham and Kessler are or were established for some time and Froch has already beaten Taylor. I'm American and I feel like there are too many Americans in the competition. It should have been opened up to more than 6 fighters in my opinion.

We shall see. I like Kessler, Froch, and Abraham. All power to them, but they'll have to prove it.

I'd say the euros are more proven where as the American fighters are more talented.

You're right, JT is the weakest, but Ward and Dirrel have a great chance to upset the applecart. It isn't that big to all of a sudden start to brag now about Euro's winning. It's like every time you guys get a champion, you try to say you are the best today, and at times...the best ever when real fans know the deal. The Euro's at 168 are having their way now for the first time since how long in this sport?

Abraham is the best out of this bunch, and he will prove it real soon.

I'm a former champion, and American from NJ, and Abraham will come out on top, and become the best 168 fighter in the world. If JT could almost knock Froch out, then what do you think AA will do to Froch? Kessler can't hit anyone who has head movement or defense...Dirrel and Ward are untested, Abraham has the most talent, the best chin, and the most power. He can box or brawl. AA is the best of this lot.

totally disagree. kessler is pretty good but froch is very overrated and dirrell's gonna outbox him easily :good and Abraham is overrated too...
