Well of course there is plenty of interest and he obviously has a decent career ahead, after all, everybody should know a good plumber.

 

Not gonna lie I would definitely tune in to any of his fights again for the sheer comedy factor. It's unmissable.

 

you are his biggest hater it seems. Khan surely is the biggest comedy act of them all... he looked dead in his last fight on the canvas

 

Khan's a joke too but at least he won a few rounds and can go 12 effortlessly against the best at the weight. Price just got taken apart by a fat Romanian plodder. Big difference.

I'm not a hater of Price btw. I don't hate the guy, just find it amusing.

 

I highly doubt he could go 12 with any top guy in his weight now. His chin is pure comedy he even got dropped by Rachid Drilzane a journeyman who had a 0% Ko ratio. The Ko defeat in 50 seconds to the colombian taxi driver Prescott will always be the most embarassing Ko defeat ever by a british boxer I think.Price is getting dropped by heavyweights.Hammer is a half decent european level HW not as bad as your making out hes beat guys like Erkan Teper.

 

No one has any interest in seeing him fight tomato cans, and no one has any interest in seeing him get a completely undeserved title shot/payday. So his only option is to fight guys like hammer, unfortunately for him this means he's just going to get knocked out again.

He has a decent chance of becoming a gatekeeper to European level for British prospects, that's it.

Now it's funny what people consider bullying. Some people would say Tony and Dave 'bouncing young prospects and novices around the ring' as seasoned fighters was bullying but they obviously disagree.

I expect Tony to be lashing out at fans all over the internet when he gets bashed up by Haye and ends up on memes.

 

If these "name" boxers didn't make so many excuses so often when they lost or didn't express satisfaction is seeing other professionals "exposed" then maybe they'd be less fans gloating or cracking jokes about them when they lose.

The fighters who never gloat or bad-mouth or make bad alibis and are always gracious .... they deserve respect at all times.
But how many of those can you name ?

 

Ritchie Woodhall was a gracious and honest fighter i remember when he was awarded the decision against Glen Catley, and live on air he admitted he should have lost and that he thought Glen Catley was the rightful winner. It's a rarity to see that kind of honesty though.

 

Didn't he say him and Price bounced Haye all around the ring after the Flores not a young novice? I may be wrong I was in the arena and it was hard to hear properly but I thought that's what he said.

On a different note has anyone heard anything from Price?? There's nothing on IFL. I hope he lets people know whatever he decides. I agree with some he should go away for months and just work on his fitness with a proper conditioning coach before he has his next fight. If he carries on that is.

 

He did this after the Teper defeat. Went on a two or three month hiatus from Twitter and then suddenly reappeared.

I think he'll do the same and have another go tbh. I think he'll delude himself into believing he was too heavy (which is true but still...) and that he just needs to improve his cardio.

 

I'm on about all of their past sparring claims - Price claiming he knocked out a young novice AJ, taking liberties against a young green Fury when he was much older and established within the amateur set up etc.

That's mainly Price TBF. Meanwhile the charming Bellew used to talk about knocking people out on nights out when he worked as a doorman.

 

Fair enough. In defence of Price I think he was just trying to get a nasty streak he's so often spoke about and get people talking about him to try and get an undeserved shot. As he admits he hasn't earned much money over the last few years his fault or not.

I know we're Bellew used to work, wasn't old enough to go myself before it got shut down but trust me it was a place filled with people who needed a hiding so well done Bomber haha. I'm only joking nothing I hate worse than bully door men but I can't see him being one as he was so young when doing it.
