The Andy Lee is complete garbage thread !!!

I guess your standards must be so high from watching all those classic, top class performances on Friday Night Fights!
Like I said, he is still learning and I doubt that Wladimir Klitschko would use a "garbage" or "cack" boxer as a sparring partner before a title fight.

 

this could be quite true. Manny is so invested in his job at HBO, it "seems" he's losing his time to spend with fighters. (I mean for ****s sake, he was a NO SHOW for Banks vs. Adamek, with the got damn CW Ring title on the line).


Who would you think would be good for Andy Lee's style? You ****er's would just think I'm biased, but think about Andy's build etc. and I think Jack Loew could do some good with him. + , Loew doesn't have 1,000 fighters and Wlad to worry about at the same time.:yep

You might be on to something there, Loew is obviously a proven trainer and Lee needs a trainer who is more dedicated to his cause than Manny is right now.

 

Nazim Richardson would definitely help him defensively in my opinion. Its gonna be difficult for him to get away from steward though, as he is his manager and trainer!

Ok and how do any of those guys stack up against Andy Lee?

Adamek is a Champ,Wlod is HALF WAY OK(never said otherwise)and Golota was good but bat**** crazy.Now im waiting for you to give me an example of me SHOVING fighters down your throat who you say are mediocre but i say are good because they come from the same country as me.

OK, so you want more defense out of Lee, AND that is understandable. BUT, no way is Andy Lee gonna turn into B-Hop! IMO, like Pavlik, Lee could use his height and offense (used properly= double his ****in jab), as a good damn defense.

and for the record, Irish boxing fans tend to support ALL of their fighters regardless of hype or potential.
If you go on to the Irish boxing thread you'll find as much support for unknown irish fighters as you would for established irish boxers, its just a natural thing here to support our fighters regardless of their records or potential.

Now whats worse? Supporting all our home grown fighters with passion or supporting a guy who is 'succesful' and pretending to be German.

I'd be happy with anybody decent who is gonna help Lee fulfill his potential.

Your right, he doesnt pop the jab fast enough or consistently enough. He hasnt learned to fight on the inside and he gets hit too often. Its a shame, as a technical puncher he is almost flawless. He's got the power in both of those hands!

Binkowski has been on Showtime a bunch of times. He upset some decent prospect at one point with like 40 seconds left in the final round of the fight.
