Did Andrade win his fight with Bute? No. Here's why. Even when Andrade put Bute down, Andrade went to the wrong corner/his corner before going to a neutral corner which is not his fault since he is as we say "in the moment". The ref is to blame because he did not direct Andrade to a neutral corner right after the knockdown. But, there was no more time on th clock which means time ran out on Andrade. The ref did tell Andrade to move away after he knocked Bute down. Andrade goes to his own corner instead. The ref did pick up the count, and Bute was slowly getting up, and then the ref stopped his count. Bute was up I believe either before or as the ref stopped his count which was at 6. Bottom line is Bute deserved his win but the ref never got a chance to look into Bute's eyes to judge him. Bute got up before 8. Andrade said, "If I'm going to lose, this is how I want to lose". Andrade ran out of time, but the ref just messed the ending up.

Bute cleary won the fight somewhere between 115-111 to 117-109 (counting both knockdown, even tho andrade was more unbalance than anything).

Contreversial end of the fight ? Yeah, but that doesnt mean the right guys doesnt win. If the ref had stop the fight, a lot of people will have cry ala Taylor/Chavez.

Bute won, but Andrade deserve a rematch in a year or so.

I was watch showtime and ref was interviewed by the Showtime crew and he said that if Andrede had stay in the nutural corner and not moved he would have stopped the fight because Bute was gone, this is what the ref said on TV to the Showtime guys and Andrade didn't leave the corner for ref to stop the count, This is the big problem now, he **** up big time this ref and cost the Andrade the fight bute was gone and at 9 to 10 with out the ref stopping the count and would be able to repond to the ref and it would have been a judgement call to stop the fight and ref said he would have in a tv interview.

this is why people are angry about all this.

If boxing is going to be THIS ticky tacky about something so irrelevant (such as what ****ing corner the dude is in) then **** them.

It's not even relevant to the matter at hand. He wasn't yelling for Andrade to go to a different corner, he was yelling at him to STAY in the corner. Despite the fact that Manny Pac for example CHARGES out of his corner before the ref has a chance to declare a fighter eligible to continue.

Ticky tack, unneccessary and ****ing stupid

No, after Andrade was out of his corner and in the neutral corner, the ref was counting and glanced over at Andrade. Andrade after he got to the neutral corner...started walking forward towards center ring, and the ref told him to get back into the corner. Bute was already up before 8 anyway, and there was no more time on the clock.

Bute won the decision. Andrade won the fight. I just wish we'd go back to 15 rd championship fights.

this where we disagree, he never got to the middle of the ring, look at where the fights was at the last round and a guys is behind, what does he have to be hugging the nutural corner post and the bell was not rang and the fight can't be save by the ref in the last round and the fight is not over until the ref see's the fight is able to continue and he thinks he is in a state to continue in the fight and then the round can end in the last round.

All I'm saying is the ref said himself that is this infraction that Andrade made by leaving the natural corner had not been made that he would have stopped fight and the mexican kid would have won the fight.

Even if we thought what the ref did was ticky tacky, Bute was up before 8, and there was no time on the clock for Andrade to finish Bute anyway.

Let me show you what would've happened.

    Ref- Lucian step to me!

    -Lucian leans over and collapses-

Ref- -turns his back and chasitizes Andrade while he waits for Bute to get up-

But Bute didn't lean over and collapse! He walked away after the final bell 2??? seconds later under his own steam, in a straight line. Didn't he? :deal

That's why the whole thing was so controversial. It wasn't obvious that the ref took the wrong/unfair decision by not calling Bute KOed.

No more like he took a step towards his corner and his cornerman grabbed him and dragged him over towards their corner. Watch it again Dec.
