It’s a given mate. Anyone who has been around bodybuilders and been in gyms for years knows what’s up. There are lots of stories from lads who boxed at Finchley too.

Most of the guys that get to the very top of the heavyweight division. Have that wierd unnatural power. Joshua is another step ahead of that tho for me. Wilders exactly the same. Terrible skill set but the one thing that stands out is the powers too much. They could have massive off nights and still skilled guys with all the tools can't stand up to it. Something fishy to me.

I get fury. I get mike Tyson. I get guys with the skill set. What I don't get is guys that are useless having abnormal power. To the point nothing else matters. I don't think its guys fighting on the same playing field.

We knew how dangerous Povetkin was gonna be in the early rounds, and there was always the feeling that if AJ rode it out he’d beat him late on. Well, it only took Joshua 2 rounds to adapt to Povetkin’s offence. He tightened his defence up, kept his right hand high and from round 3 controlled the fight and defended well. I thought he boxed really well from round 3 and showed more fluidity, took more risks and got a great finish.

That was a fella who was trying to spark him with every shot. He deserves credit...39 yes, but AJ had to fight him as his mandatory and he got a beautiful KO to have people flocking in to see him again in April.

It took Joshua a good few rounds to get his timing right tonight but once got there he looked well. AJ is so mentally tough he never takes his eye of the prize. If he takes that long to find his range against Wilder he will no doubt take some bombs it will be interesting to see how he takes them

@bbjc are you talking about Joshua or Wilder?

@CutThroatFade ive worked out YOU are the one who is on gear. You are obsessed with AJ being on them even though nothing about his physique points to it

You strike me as one of those guys who tops up his tren and has a quick line before heading to the gym and knocks out 1/4 range partials before flexing in the mirror

Therefore if you can't get a good physique naturally nor can anyone else!

I don't know if Joshua on PEDS, he probably is, but then I think most top heavyweights are on something.

He is extremely powerful, 250-260 pounds and shredded. His dominance is largely based on his physical attributes. So people will always think it. But until a person gets caught, who cares.

Aj was great. Povetkin came to fight. AJ adjusted well.

In sport, you can't dominate every single second, it's the outcome which counts

Great finish but I thought AJ looked a bit off he’s better than Wilder but if Wilder catches anyone it’s game over

AJ is as good as he's going to get kids, he's lucky that he got the chance to fave Povetkin and Klitschko when they where on their way out.

Congratulations to AJ. He beat a very strong mandatory challenger who has never been KO before last night. Now let's hope Wilder doesn't bottle it (again) and they fight in April to prove AJ is the best heavyweight in the world.

He’s entitled to his opinion just like @CutThroatFade . Don’t have to accuse people of being on gear or calling them cretins just because they’re not waxing lyrical over a fighter. Go on the general if that’s your thing.
