I’m going for Parker. Think a lot of people are underestimating him.

Unless it doesn't finish early, then it turns out you have a lot to learn about both fighters.

I think Parker's getting badly underestimated. That said, I still think he visits the canvass for the first time in his career and gets stopped.

But I do think he's got about a 25 to 30% chance of pulling off the upset. This is easily the second best hw AJ has faced. If his chin is cast iron, if he can apply constant pressure(to the extent that exists in his game), just keep an working an uncomfortable, maybe AJ gets tired late and Parker can jump all over him

Parker needs too have a tight defence and absorb shots for the first half of the fight. The reality is if AJ is in top form and condition he gets Parker out of there. Parkers best chance is that AJ has underestimated him

AJ, although I’m hoping I’m wrong.

However, I think Parker’s chin is solid. So I’m really curious how things will play out if AJ finds he can’t just blast though the opposition and use his power as his sole offense and defense.

Regardless of what people from the UK like to believe, this fight is much closer to a pick em fight than one would think.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand the hype around Joshua. He is a big man who is in tremendous shape and packs a punch that most heavies would struggle with.

However, people often overlook his biggest flaws because he wins by KO. Much like Wilder.
I don't believe AJ has a 'glass chin' but it definitely not on the same level as some of the HW's in the division.
He proved against Wlad that his chin is good enough to take a shot from one of the biggest punchers in the HW division...regardless of the knockdown.

On the other hand, I don't consider Parkers chin to be 'granite' like some are claiming.
I have watched Parker live since I was boxing in my teens and have seen him take big shots as an amatuer.
He has a great chin, but remember he was buzzed by the much lighter punching Nascimento earlier in his professional career.

Parker has a better chance of beating Anthony Joshua by utilizing the blueprint that others have made for him.

When has AJ been troubled in the past?
He struggled against Savon, Dychko (2012) and was knocked out the previous year by Nistor.

All three of those guys from the amateurs got to AJ with aggression. Joshua loves going forward and being the bully, but hates going backwards. Nistor is southpaw but doesn't punch anywhere near as hard as what Parker can...or with the snap that Parker can offer.

People can say that is in the past, he's evolved blah blah. But really, no he hasn't.

His style hasn't changed and offers smaller fighters the chance to work in and get punches off?
He still struggles to contain himself when hurt. He appears rattled and jumps straight on the offensive, swinging wildly?
His stamina is arguably worse since putting on mass?

AJ will try to bully Parker in the first two rounds and Parker will have to figure out what range he will need to fight at against the bigger man.
I think the key to victory for Parker is utilizing his hand speed to the body between rounds 3-5. So long as his footwork is there, there should be no issue in doing so, as Joshua is very stationary. He just needs to remember to keep his hands on the chin.

Through rounds 6-8 Parker needs to take the fight to Joshua as we know he doesn't have the gas tank to go a full 10 rounds in a real fight (as seen against Whyte, Wlad and the smaller Takam).

I still see it 60/40 Joshua, but it all depends what game plan they come with.
If AJ comes in expecting to win like he did against Wlad and Whyte, he could have a tough night on his hands.
Where as if he comes in and utilises his natural advantages (like Fury), then he could spoil the fight and win convincingly.

If AJ was to spoil and use his size as an advantage by tiring the smaller Parker he could make it an easy night. Parker would then be forced to fight and AJ would have the opportunity to catch him coming in with an uppercut (Parker is susceptible to).

All said in done, I think AJ wins by stoppage in the later rounds (8-11) but i'm not ruling Parker out.
