I live in the USA, I know hundreds of Americans and he does make some good points.
Perhaps if u stopped defending and started listening a little more u might understand what is being typed to you.
As I said in a previous post to you, just because you want it to be so doesn't make it so. I stopped responding to you because you were not making any sense. Now I am just adding some weight to the other posters comments as he was being called unqualified to make such opinions based on limited experience (not sure how that could honestly be asserted from your vantage point). It is easy to pick on the US because we are big target. That's a simple fact of this world at this particular time. Yes....I am saying you should not have an opinion of American people. You should have opinions of the people you have met or encountered. If they happen to be American...ok then. But their being American is only going to tell you so much about them, especially if you don't know much about American culture. I often meet people from Europe who visit here who are totally suprised at our casualness and the way we address each other....often to the degree that they come off arrogant, at least by our standards. There is a cultural difference.

Ive seen post like that. You happen to support a US fighter over a non US fighter and you labeled as just picking the fighter simply based on his nation. Which is utter bull****. I think Floyd beats Hatton because he is better. And I am a fan of both of them.

Hey, we had our differences on one subject, but honestly, reading the majority of your other posts, I tend to agree with you a majority of the time believe it or not.

Keep opening peoples eyes to the whole picture, not just the picture they want to see or have had the opportunity to see. There is always more to learn right? Much respect....

Lately I have been quite dismissive of America simply because Im sick of reading that EVERYTHING boxing HAS to gravitate to the states............Brit fighters are no good until they have beat americans in america etc...etc.......The shite aimed at Calzaghe & Hatton on here sometimes , mainly by U.S. posters is ****ing ridiculous...........& in JC's case who in Gods name at his weight is there worth fighting in the US..........???????........Another thing is that British boxing in my opinion is a far greater crowd puller & all round event than fights in the US..........Come on...the Boxing "Mecca" of the US attracts how many again to the superfights.......??????????.............The cold hard reality of it is that sadly America means $$$$$ & alot of the soul has gone out of American Boxing in my opinion......I have watched alot of big U.S. fights lately & has come across as passionless............Then you get some berk on here posting how PBF v DLH is a far bigger "event" than anything Hatton can bring....??????......Its laughable............Dont take this the wrong way the US has some excellent fighters & some very knowledgeable posters on this site but I really do feel that on a whole US boxing needs to recapture its glory days..........When I was a kid it seemed like there was a superfight every ****ing week from the states , Hagler & Hearns to name a few generating real excitment.............something that is lacking in Americas boxing imagination today........

I'm rooting for Calzaghe and Hatton in their upcoming fights and I'm AMERICAN!! There's assholes on every continent and it seems that 2007 is reversing the negativity that has existed recently. As, we are starting to see the best fight the best!!! Hopefully?? that resurgence continues forward. Its not just the US, its Boxing that needs to recapture its glory and i believe it's starting to do just that:happy Every fighter and nationality is required for partcipation:yep

Chuikov the Red Army commander lost 478,741 dead and 650,878 wounded. Over 40,000 Russian civilians were killed. Nazis and their allies lost over 850,000. Major Russian victory which the murderous Nazis were never able to recover from. Kirsk, the largest tank battle in history the battle that insured the allies would win the war. Again the Red Army paid the price for victory with losses that were staggering by western standards. Then we get to Berlin or should I say the Red Army got to Berlin. More brutal losses for our Russian allies but the spike was driven through the beasts heart and it beat no more. The laurels of victory belong to the Red Army to deny that is to deny history.
