The Antonio Margarito madness MUST STOP!

Should we reward him since he was caught instead of getting away with it? Should we reward his failure to cheat? His ineptitude should not be rewarded.

You are innocent until you are proven guilty? WTF is this, the supreme court of law? R we supposed to believe that Margarito didn't know he had plaster in his handwraps now? Man, I agree Margarito should not be sent to prison or banned for life, but that thing he didn't know... Tell it to somebody else.

The key issue is whether Margarito KNEW his trainer was wrapping naughty or not. That's basically it.

 

Of course he knew but even that doesn't take to ban him for life. The guy has to man up and don't just hide behind scape goats.

Honestly, nobody here needs to provide any of that. First, it wasn't taken to court, it was the commissions hearing, and they obviously found all the proof they needed. So it seems it would be on you to provide proof to them.

And I hope none of the drama queen conspiracy theorists come out of the woodwork. Because unless they have proof that santa, OJ, or kizer sozay did it, why bother?

 

Yea, he fought clean and got knocked the **** out. Let it go man. If he would have gotten away with it and Mosley died of head injuries, I guess that couldn't be proven if he used anything. Margarito just hit that hard. This is old news, let it go. It be funny if he gets KO'ed in his fight back. That would nail the coffin shut as far as his career.

Too high standards. Obviously, no-one's going to be able to prove that he wrapped his own hands or instructed his trainer to load them. But it seems reasonable (to some) to believe that he was at least aware of what was going into his gloves, or has a degree of responsibility over them.

I agree with your general point that the whole saga has been massively blown out of proportion. People going around assuming that all his wins should be NC'd is just ridiculous. But demanding "conclusive" proof on this issue is being too picky. Where's the evidence Tyson raped Desiree Washington?

 

Were you dropped on your head as a child? Are you actually saying that if a fighter doesn't load gloves on his own he is not in any way cupable. So, if a trainer loades gloves right under the fighter nose and the fighter then goes on to kill someone, the fighter, in your opinion, in not responsible. Sorry, but boxing boards all over the country have already proven you an idiot. They suspended Margirito just like they suspended Panaman Lews's and his fighter.
