Tommy Morrison would have destroyed Eddie Chambers, Ray Mercer would have brutalized him. Are you insane?:lol::lol:
Spain hasnt beaten the USA in 10 years. Greece hasnt beaten the USA since 2004. The USA hasnt lost a game in close to 6 years. The USA basketball team won hte world championships with mostly guys barely out of college. Didnt even use its best players and still won almost every game by double digits.

Get the **** out of here, you dont know **** about basketball. the USA dominates.

If Lebron had training from early childhood like boxers used to have he would have made a gifted boxer no doubt in my mind.

You dont know **** about anything my friend.

Hey dope go look at the Olympic medal tables over hte last 100 years, see who dominates that.

"In your mind" byut you don't know anything about boxing. The skills don;t translate. There is nothing to indicate that Lebron could take a punch or go 12.

Yeah, like Morrison beat Michael Bent and Mercer beat Ferguson. Whatever.

But its irrelevent. Not only are their best big men not going into boding, almost no of their guys are:

America- 425
Britain- 38
Canada- 35
Germany- 35
Ukraine-28
Russia- 25
New Zealand- 24
France- 16
Poland- 11
Cuba- 10
Uzbekistan- 9
Nigeria- 7
Italy-6
Bulgaria- 5
Finland- 4

Greece Defeats Team America

The European champions are playing for a much bigger prize.
The best the United States can hope for is yet another bronze medal.
Greece used a sizzling stretch of shooting across the middle two quarters to turn a 12-point deficit into a 14-point lead, and beat the Americans 101-95 Friday in the semifinals of the world championships.
The Greeks (8-0) can add a world title to the European championship they won in 2005 with a victory over either Spain or Argentina in Sunday’s gold medal game. Those teams, also undefeated, met in Friday’s second game.
The Greeks — with no current NBA players on their roster — danced in a circle at halfcourt after their victory over an American team put together after a series of recent failures.
Done in again by their inept 3-point shooting — and they weren’t much better from the foul line — the Americans will fall short of a championship in a major international tournament for the third straight time.
The U.S. (7-1) will return to the court Saturday against the loser of the Argentina-Spain game, hoping to match the bronze medal it left Athens with in 2004.
Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points for the Americans, who couldn’t overcome their 32 percent shooting from 3-point range or 59 percent from the foul line. Dwyane Wade added 19 and LeBron James had 17, but the three U.S. captains were unable to avenge their disappointment from Athens.

To show you how much of an underdog Greece was, here’s a quote that Brian Mahoney made earlier today:
Spain has Pau Gasol. Argentina has Manu Ginobili.
Greece has some big names, too — though only in length.
“The names are too long,” Carmelo Anthony said. “The names are very, very long. I’m going to have to learn them overnight.”

Greece controlled the tempo, made their shots, both from the line, and outside the arc, and really showed the world the level of international basketball. Looks like Team America will once again play in the bronze medal game.

Again you posted an article from 2006. When the guys in those pics werent a few years into their pro careers. Still young inexperienced.

And the USA hasnt lost since. I fail to see what point you are trying to make? The USA has won every game by an average of 20+ points against European competition. Won the olympics and won the worlds last year with what were basically teenagers.

Again I just think you are a moron who doesnt understand sports.

Again whats the US olympic medal count over the last 100 years compared to the next closest country?

Ukraine-28
Russia- 25

Cuba- 10

Nigeria- 7
Italy-6
Bulgaria- 5
Finland- 4

I am genuinely embarrassed for you that you don't understand.

It's not a different sport. It's just a different skillset, but just like in any sport the guys that are the most natural and best suited for it typically excell.

After that, it just comes down to work ethic.

Look at Joan Guzman for instance. He's an amazing athlete with elite level handspeed who basically dominates every opponent he's faced. Regular people are not capable of doing the things he does in the ring. Can you imagine Mikkell Kesser attempting to operate with his style?

The only thing that keeps him down is work ethic, but it's clear that his athletic ability has contributed to his success.

Trust me, your idea of boxing and my idea of boxing are probably way different.

For instance, you think boxing is a guy standing like he has a stick up his ass with his hands in a predictable high guard. You would call him the master of fundametals.

I learned from a completely different textbook, but if you don't have the proper rhthymm and coordination, you will not be capable of performing it.

It's why you should stick with your standard stick up the ass style of boxing, while you talk **** about guys that holds their hands low, but somehow end up the most elite boxers in the world.

Go figure. It sounds like insecurity to me. You just need to get over it or open your eyes. It's not healthy to go around in life with blinders on.

These stats this guy uses are utter bull****. The fact is on that particular database that only the USA seems to have any thorough representation of the actual guys fighting for a nation.

More than half the guys listed on Boxrec for the usa have had zero or 1-2 fights.

If you guys believe that this list is all inclusive of every fighter per nation by heavyweight, you are delusional.

You know I was talkin **** about when Funeka beat him, but in he rematch Guzman shut me the **** up.

The thing with Guzman is that he just doesn't take his training seriously. While he did cheat in the rematch, his skillset in combinaion with his natural athleticism allowed him to completely dominate Funeka.

It wasn't even competitive.

But my point is, you need a great deal of athleticism to operate on his level. Have you ever seen him on the pads? He's amazing.

Regular people just can't do that. I don't see what is so hard for people to understand.

Why do you lie to yourselves?

Here's Blake Griffin aka "Blake Superior" what he is known as in America

He is 6'10 251lbs

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gG4W0L41FI[/ame]

I guarantee he will dunk on atleast 10 Europeans in the 2012 Olympics and will help lead the USA to another undefeated World Championship

Just another example of an athlete who if had been trained in combat sports from a young age we would have never had to suffer through the boring Klitscko era.
