Even the Klitschko's are obviously superior athletes to their counterparts with maybe the lone exception of David Haye.

But guys like David Haye and the Klitschko's for that matter are a dime a dozen in the NBA or NFL.

Just about every college has a basketball team, many have football teams. Even if they don't make it in the NBA, you have the D-league, minor leagues in the US, Foreign leagues(all earning six figures), and just a college degree to fall back on. Football you have practice squads and the CFL. Much easier than hoping and praying that you will be a boxer making enough to not only live on but to retire on during your career.

And of course you can't discount heart, but to say that Europeans have more heart than Americans is ridiculous.

    On what basis?

Wlad certainly hasn't shown much heart. Vitali has of course and to be honest, I still think Vitali would be competitive and capable of being champion. He's a good big man.

But you have to be lying to yourself if you think guys like Chambers and Arreola are the best athletes America has to offer.

Americans hate not being the best at something. Because, even in their schools they are taught that their country is great. That's why they are all pig headed, uneducated twirps. They trust whatever is told to them by ANY figure of authority.

Hmm lets look here...how many tickets has Bradley v Alexander, 2 American champions sold?

Ok now lets look at a typical "boring" Klitschko fight...15k+....

Alexander vs Bradley is going to be a great fight. Two guys who will give their all till the final bell.

The 2 ticket holders will be thoroughly entertained. The 15,000 that see the Klits are going to be thoroughly disappointed. Unless they're German and dont understand what they are watchign anyway.

One gets fans to go to the fight, which has to be good for boxing, one, despite being a better fight, can't sell to save it's life, that can't be good for the sport.

Utter nonsense. Put out a bad product long enough and people get wise. If Klitsckos were putting on great fights boxing wouldnt be in decline. As the heavyweights go boxing goes.

But these guys, despite being heavies are incapable of capturing the biggest market available.

Mike Tyson made what, $500 million?

Klitschko's make chump change compared to what he made.

There is no reason the biggest sellers in the US should be guys that weigh less than 150 lbs.

Remember that was $500 million made back when PPVs were as cheap as $20 for a full card.

Because the biggest markets don't have a great deal of boxing on them. We are talking about China and India right?....

But nowadays if the Klitschko's are even show on TV it's on ESPN 3 which isn't even carried by cable providers.

You have to watch that **** on your computer.

Even you have to admit that it's pathetic especially in a time where MMA is on the rise.

A guy like Tyson coming into the sport today would do wonders for boxing.
