I understand that China and India are emerging markets and may very well become the main economic powerhouses in the near future if they are not there already, but as of this time they don't have the means nor the desire to purchase boxing.

I mean, can you name any Chinese or Indian champions.

On that note, don't be a smartass. You know what I'm talking about.

Wang Ya Nan is a Chinese chick with a world title ;-)

They don't have the desire, but they are the biggest "markets" if someone can crack into them.

    Doesn't prove he's got a chin.

In fact, at 6'8, I doubt he could go twelve. But you are still missing the point: other countries are putting up negligible numbers and still beating us. This should be graciously commended, Euros should not have to listen to whining and excuses.

Again, no. You can repeat it all you ike, but being big and being able to jump does not mean you have a chin, does not mean you have the stamina, and does not mean you have the natural punching power, etc. It is an assumption on your part based on your physcological need to pretend that America basketballers could box if they want to.

Insecurity? I am putting up stats. We put up 20-40 times more heavyweight fighters than other countries, and they still dominate. If you can argue that we have better atheletes, then they can make that arguement 5-10 times over, or whatever the per capita adjustment would be.

Sorry, you are the one showing insecurity by making such a stupid arguement.

Just look at boxing. The guys at the top are generally also the best athletes. Donaire, Guzman, Mayweather, Pac, Ward, Klitschko's, Pascal, Dawson, etc...

Yet for some reason all the athletic ability in the NBA and NFL, some of the best in the world, accounts for nothing.

You're looking way too far into this ****.

    It's simple really...

In your opinion are America's best athletes in boxing?

And for the record, there are blacks, polynesians, asians, mexicans and whites in the NFL or NBA.

Eddie Chambers and Calvin Brock are also black, but that doesn't make them America's best athletes.

Again, you're lookin WAY too deep into this ****.

You need to just focus on the original statment. He is implying that the best American athletes are boxing when it's obviously not true.
