there is a bigger problem with white americans! they live to soft a lifestyle since childhood to be competitive in any sports...

just look at the stats at the most popular soprts in the US:
Soccer: there are no white american in the top 100
basketball:even tough its in american game, there are more non american whites in the NBA than white americans
hockey: most of the NHL teams are american, yet only 20% of the players are white american

Tell me, who was the last white american boxer for ex, who was as good as Froch, Arthur Abrahama, Bute, Huck, Lebedev, Cleverly, Erdei, Wladimir, Vitali, Helenius, Pulev, Adamek?

the're aren't! No wonder douchebags like Hopkins, PBF sr and HENDO believes black athletes are superior! Exposed to those kind of stats, I would too...

the truth?? or something you want to hear?

    The truth about european/oceanian boxing:

It was/is considered a shame to have a profesion as a pro fighter, because it means you're not smart enough to find a regular job, the Klitschkos are exeptions, because of their accademyc accompishments and that they could lieave the sport at any given moment and still wont starve to death
boxing is/was never as popular in europe/oceania, as it was/is in the US
the Klitschkos arern't the best athletes europe has to offer, the best athletes usually play hockey, soccer, rugby(or never turn pro, athletes in europe, dont get schoolarships for athletics), because it pays better and you dont have to bust your face up

Same here. I get the fact that when you look at NFL/NBA rosters you see large athletic guys but the point that me and other posters are making is that athleticsm alone would not translate to an ATG HW. If anything i reckon or HW division would be far more competitive due to someone actually being able to challenge European HW's. I would go as far as saying that having the best stats wouldnt even matter in HW boxing. Again Tyson was 5ft 11in at best and was a monsterous HW chopping guys down who were taller and bigger.

You do realise that tea time doesn't mean what you think it means, don't you?

Tea time is the main meal of the day. What you would call dinner. There is no tea drink involved.

    You ****ing stupid ****ing idiot!

What the **** does that have to do with anything? What a ****ing cretin you are!

They actually drink more tea than we do, too but you know what they're like. They just presume everything about the World outside their borders and believe they are correct.

    Are you for real?!

For ****s sake! Do you have no idea how stupid you come across?

Is it ****! Most of the debate has been about the US Vs UK and both show mainly black fighters.

It has nothing to do with race except in your own mind and that is your problem.

OK. So you just "don't want to" at the moment, then?

    Ha!

Incidentally. Wayne Rooney could well have been a decent boxer. Roy Keane too and then consider people like Dunc Ferguson fighting heavyweight? All chose football over boxing though as 99% of people in Britain do.

That's not interesting. The passion for football has remained the same over those 50 years.

Honestly mate, of all the people on this board, you really shouldn't be allowed to call someone else "dumb".

bad example! Tyson was overhyped! He never faced the best tall guys! It was even proven that he ducked and old Foreman! AN OLD FOREMAN! The guys he fought didnt know how to use their height and were of low caliber, thats why he was a HW choper!

    Vincent (Atlanta)

Mr. King, why do you think the Heavyweight division is so weak right now?

    Don King (2:05 PM)

I couldn't agree with you more, Vincent. Boxing is a world sport and it seems like the Europeans have stolen the heavyweight thunder right now. The reasons for this are many. But I am convinced that many American athletes who could be heavyweight champions are currently playing football in the NFL. We need a new American hero in the heavyweight division.

This is sadly the typical philosophy of todays Americans.

You are a seriously ill country.

What does it matter that American heavyweights are in other sports? It's a nonsense argument.

It still just means the USA has no good heavies. Who gives a **** what the reason for the USA having **** heavies is?

Do you Americans want a new heavyweight belt to be made official, the WPGHC (World's Potentially Good Heavyweight Champion)?

Well done America, you have great potential boxers, enjoy watching them.

In the meantime I'll carry on watching boxing.

    Stop this bull****.

I have been on the internet for some time now. Over ten years.

I honestly don't think I have ever read a worse thread in my life! I have never known a thread to make me cringe almost all the way through it. It's really terrible and you had any sense, you'd feel ****ing ashamed!
