A lot of people ARE giving him credit for it. THey are just saying it was boring, which has caused an uproar in the Klit community for some reason. As if WLad isn't ALLOWED to be in dull fights.

But Wladimir gets hit all the same... You don't expect a 6'6'' tall guy not getting hit - he just ducks his head in between his large shoulders and his right arm and stretches that left hand so that his opponents only hit him on the arms, body or shoulders... Adding the fact that he mostly hits his opponents with jabs and has no inside game, I think it's fair to say that the Sweet Science fundamentals are not asked to describe Klitschko.

Is there a stat for the amount of times Kltischko made Ibragimov miss cleanly?

some people here think they know more than manny steward, even ol' manny was asking wlad to throw more punches and not to go the distance against a fighter like him(ibragimov).

Did you watch the post fight press conference? Manny said exactly what I have been saying since before the post fight press conference. I think that Manny was obviously just motivating Wlad to keep him alert during such an easy fight. If you watch during the earlier rounds, Manny tells him not to change a thing, and that it is going perfect. Trainers say things to keep their fighters on their toes, that way they don't get overconfident with the ease at which they are winning, and get caught. I think that he wanted Wlad to go out prepared to battle during those final rounds, figuring that Sultan was going to go for broke. However, Sultan never did, so the big knockout opportunities never presented themself to Wlad. At the end of the 11th was the only time, and Sultan almost got his block knocked off when he opened up for a few seconds.

I've seen some ridiculous WALDO loving in my time, but that's on a whole new level.
