good example from recent era CW was Gassiev vs Usyk fight there: U keep him damn busy and with this do not allow him to set up properly.

More than mentally it is physical thing.
Fore example 30-35 y.o Beterbiev versions were boxer aimed at gradual, methodical damage.
From younger boxers it is Subriel Matias for example.
It is like guy does have solid 1 punch KO power but he still prefers to induce gradual damage and accumulate this.
Even a bit Gvozdyk: like boxer not puncher type but huge for LHW division and damaging boxer.
A lot of examples besides these few mentioned by me in this post.

Rewatch the fight. It was never close. Mayweather outpointed Maidana with cleaner shots. People were not use to watching Floyd stay in the pocket which made it look even.

it was close in till Floyd started to edge forward through the mid and late fight

Maidana a total write off underdog gave a better fight than the Clenbuterol kid did 7 months earlier.

The problem is Maidana hit him on the top of his head, on his gloves, tips of his elbows, waist line, etc. There weren't that many scoring blows, his accuracy was off. I was amused though by his performance in both fights. Knocking out Floyd's tooth was classic. Maidana s style is to not leave in the hands of the judges. His mo is to demolish fighters. I'm pretty sure Floyd had all that he could handle? Or no?
