yeah i think you might be right LJD may talk to Green but i still remember when Green came out of retirement Green-Mundine II was a done deal at LHW at Subiaco oval Perth.
Yeah not sure about what's going on, but i snapped up the odds. I put $4000 this morning on www.betezy.com.au got flores @ $7.50. Hope he can get the win ill be cheering home the $30000 lol
oh ive looked into that but looking into Flores Comp is far worse than people thought. Look for those fans who probably dont research as much as me i will break down the last 3 years or so for Flores. Flores V Chris Thomas (200) 16-6-2 Leading up to that fight Thomas has lost his last 2 fights against Nobodies. In this fight Thomas won 4 rounds or so. V Patrick Nwamu (200) 12-1-0 Leading up to the fight Nwamu was winning but he never fought again after this fight. He won 3 rounds or so. V Andy Sample (Heavy) 34-16-2 Leading up to this fight Sample had been KO'd in the 1st round of last 3 fights, Flores KO'd in the 2nd. V Darnell Wilson (200) 22-5-3 Leading up to this fight Ding a Ling had been in good form and was probably IMO on the over rated. Anyway the fight was close. A Lot closer than one of the judges scores of 118-110. In most peoples mind it was close real close. Probably Flores best win which IMO Wilson was not even rated in the top ten by Ring so if this is Flores best win. V Matt Hicks (Heavy) 13-3-0 Leading up to the fight Hicks had lost to a no namer in Skyler Anderson and then Flores stopped him. V Jose Herrera (200) 16-5-0 Leading up to the fight he lost by TKO to a no namer once again then Flores took him the distance he never won again either. V Epi Mendoza (200) 29-7-1 Leading up to the fight Mendoza had fought some quality fighters that included Lacy, Dawson and Shumenov and he lost all of them at (175) this was his first fight at (200) and he was coming off loses. So when i look back at Flores career it has been some say he was avoided but i feel he was more managed very carefully with not once him being in the Ring with a Top Contender as well not one really being in great form. Danny Green however has stopped some decent guys and when i say decent i mean decent. Like for Flores were talking his best two wins are Wilson and Mendoza thats like what C+ wins for mind and he has only two of them. Green however has stopped cold some pretty decent fighters of late much better fighters than Flores. I feel Flores although might outweigh Green by 15 to 20 pounds come fight night he is not for me on the same class.
Nice research Zoo - it's facts like these that see Flores paying $7.50 in a two horse race. Hopefully it'll be at 200lbs though, as weight restricting Flores as well would seem grossly unfair.
I acknowledge that Green is the favorite, and think he's likely to win, but those odds just seem too good to be true, so I'll splash a few hundred on it. If it gets up, I'll have myself a nice little holiday. If it doesnt, then whats a few hundred?
I'd say quite a few have had a dabble at $7-50 Good price in a two horse race. One punch could turn it around awful quick.
Yeah i saw that, i tried getting one of my friends at work on the $7.50 odds, lol maybe my $4k changed it abit oh well i got mine on. I still think green deserves to be favourite, but honestly i think it should be green around $1.60 flores $2.40.. so very happy to have a flutter at that price. Green hasnt been tested in years could be interesting, and if i do win $30000 that is a very nice holiday :good
I think green deserves to be favourite and thanks for your research on bj, your research definetly is slighted to favour green though. you named greens last four fights saying they where all big fights, all 4 where low level embarrassments against old, shot, **** fighters. siaca had last fought at middle weight and going in was ranked 70th mw in the world, had never fought cruiser. RJJ was old and shot as **** Briggs-should never have been in the ring And on top of greens weak card of late he has never really fought a proper cruiser weight fighter. I think it will be a good even fight, no easy day for green, i can even see danny walking forward like a robot like he did against mandy and just gettin picked of by bj for a ud. :deal
With the odds on offer you would think Flores was fighting Steve Cunningham at cruiser but he's fighting a light heavy in Danny Green. It simple HAS to be a catchweight of about 190 lbs. There is no other reason for such ridiculous odds. Green is 37 yrs old and has never fought above 185 and is nothing special anyway.
C'arn Flores! Do Australia proud and drop this loser and send him into retirement. :happy This content is protected :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy
