It's one thing to be the best but it's another to prove it and use your talent to accomplish things, it doesn't matter how good he is unless another lineage is created there is no champ.

 

This is true. I just hope he fights one more time before the year's end.

 

His management said they wanted him to fight 3 times this year. Hell, with fights like these he could fight every month.

 

I dont dispute that Wlad is the best HW.

But to be officially undisputed then he has to unify.

Officially undisputed and unofficially undisputed are not the same things.

 

I've never understood why holding all three or four belts even matters. Who cares if someone has no belts or 10 belts, they're still the same fighter.

 

We have to get away from the corrupted organisations, i.e. WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF. As long as we define the champ as the holder of those belts, we will never get a undisputed champ. Hopefully the Ring belt will gain more recognition. The Ring Magazine is into boxing, the other organisations are into money and will strip the champions of the belts justto make more money.

 

All we need is one guy to unify then we have a lineage so the crappy belts will still be pissed on but we will have a champ, everybody wins (except the crooks).

Hey, I'm a huge Wlad fan, but sorry, he ain'e the champ and he ain't undisputed. And to his credit, he himself admits this.

 

This is a ridiculous thread. Wlad is still just a titlist. The Chagaev/Ibrag winner is going to have more clout, especially considering they will be undefeated. It would be a what have you done for me lately sort of thing.

Wlad will define himself as the best when he beats the WBO/WBA champ.

Just be happy law and order is returning to the heavyweight division. Wlad solidifies himself as a force and two of the belts will soon be unified. The WBC will soon stop changing hands.
