Americans are just stupid. There is a mixed martial artist named Lyota Machida who is undefeated that they say the same things about. As long as vlad keeps winning they will still want someone to beat him
I agree its wrong but is it really mind boggling ? The Heavy Weight champ is supposed to be a bad MF , he is supposed to strike fear and despite the fact that Toney is utterly shot to **** and nowhere near as powerful as Wlad he does seem like the more "scary" peronality. This all especially true in the US of A
Dude , i can be as jingoistic as the next man , but its more than that and yes our american cousins have some right dumb ****s amongst them , but do not we all ?
Wlad's problem is he seems a nice guy but he's so godamned boring to watch in action,i'm not saying he's inept just snooze inducing
**** that he scares me...it is like he refuses to ko people so he cAN JUST PUNISH HIM WITH HIS JAB UNTIL THEY QUIT LOL
its not hate. Just opinion. Check the poll: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100047 they may not work at ESPN, USA Today, Yahoo Sports, The Boxing Times... I guess they are just the fans 75% to 25% is pretty ****ing one sided.
BULL ****...He has done WAY more than Vitaly and has dominated everyone for the better part of his career...vitaly's great moment was when his face looked like he was in A fight with a weed whacker
americans are stupid cuz they don't want to see machida run around the ring and every 45 secs throw a strike...then run again? why is that stupid? I like wlad though
Wlad needs to keep winning and dominating. He'll get his recognition when he retires. We can't blame him for the division being weak but when we go back, we'll look at see Wlad dominated an era on his jab alone.
When Wlad fought Peter, Peter was still green. When Vitali fought Peter he had more experience and was WBC champion with wins over top10 and even top5 opposition. facts are facts, and the facts are that even in those losses Vitali showed he was a better fighter than his brother. Going 6 hard competitive rounds with Lennox and having the fight stopped on cuts and dominating Byrd before retiring due to injury. Compare that to Wlad's losses and even to some of his wins. (Touch of Sleep) It may seem like i dislike Wlad but i don't. I just don't think he's a great fighter.
