Wow. I dunno. I think it'd be a razor close fight that could go either way.

Ramirez had some great fights with Edwin Rosario and Castillo had maybe the greatest fight of all-time vs the late Diego Correles. I would give Ramirez the edge here by the slightest of margins. Like the Castillo vs Correles fights both men incur a lot of residual damage here.

Ramirez by split decision. Both men suffer damage and are bruised and battered.

Castillo would win...the better all-around fighter, both are tough as nails but Castillo has the higher skill set and counterpunching skills. he is also the bigger man. Castillo would win in closely fought war:hey

My pick has always been Ramirez to come from behind and force a stoppage...Ill stick with that.

    Would be a classic.

If the Ramirez that fought Rosario, Arguello and Boza turns up, he wins. If the Ramirez that fought Mancini rocks up, Castillo wins.

Castillo IMO will bring the pressure to the fight and both guys will meet head on, but Ramirez is the better counterpuncher and will probably be the first to take a step back to land his cleaner, harder and more accurate shots. However, it would take afew rounds of this strategy for it to come out the bag, so in the interim Castillo takes the lead, then in the late rounds the aforementioned countering takes over for a tight but clear UD

Ramirez beats Castillo over 12 by the slimmest of margins.
