How come's Chavez jr and Margarito always speak Spanish and need translators when they went to school in the States?

I was only commenting on the post you made regarding haye, froch, khan i was unaware it was a rebuttal to an earlier post regarding nonito.
a number of things play into styles and it doesnt usually matter about proximity to other fighters.

In my experience different gyms have different ways of teaching you. These may be down to culture, specific training styles past down(old school) but its not usually due to proximity i may be wrong though

some folk choose not to speak english and in a multicultural society where communities tend to be of the same ethenticity theres less need for the effort. although bilingual ability is an asset especially for young people as it opens doors for them.

If i was claiming guys that moved here for boxing reasons then i would claim Sergio Martinez,Yohnny Perez and Angulo... . I am not removing Nonito,Mares or Segura all of whom were raised here, learned to box here and are Cali guys through and through

Top 10 fighters born, raised learned to box here

    1.Nonito Donnaire
    2.Tim Bradley
    3.Andre Ward
    4.Giovanni Segura
    5.Robert Guerrero
    6.Brandon Rios
    7.SHane Mosley
    8.Victor Ortiz
    9.Antonio Margarito
    10.Mikey Garcia

    Uks best
    1.Amir Kahn
    2.Carl Froch
    3.David Haye
    4.Kell Brook
    5.Ola afolabi
    6.John Murray
    7.Ryan Rhodes
8.James Degale still a prospect not even ranked
    9.Kevin Mitchell
    10.Matthew Hatton

COme on ARRAN now how in the hell are you gonna compare that list to Calis? OUr number 10 guy is one a top 3 or 4 contender and future champion... Your number 10 guy is a maybe top 20 gritty fighter but far from world class.... Your number 5 isnt even a ranked contender anymore Where as Guerrero is maybe a top 20 pfp fighter!! After your top 3 there is a huuuuuge drop off.

Ok maybe Cali ko 3 since you got some good guys at the top.

I meant Mosely:lol: And Oscar is from East La not Montebello quit getting your info from Boxing records... And I was raised in the city next to Montebello and it sure as hell dont take that long to get to Oxnard.. Whatever its not a huge 200 mile radius like you mentioned about your big trio.
