Nonito is more american than Lewis is English... Lewis came up in Canada learned to box there and spent his influential teen years in canada. Your preteen and teen years pretty much mold what you become as an adult therefor e Lennox is really canadian.

 

the american olympic team is the most bull**** team on the planet, you have more foreign born athletes compete in the olympics than the rest of the world put together

 

This is getting silly California is part of the united states of america and put it into the correct context the majority of said south cali fighters boxed amateur all over the us or at the very least east coast invitationals etc. the united kingdom is by far a smaller country as a whole and is therefore different and cannot even compete with the us.

common sense tells us this i am happy for all the success the uk has had from england scotland wales n.ireland and the republic of eire.(not part of uk) I also have respect for american fighters. the main issue with fanboyism is that it is often flamed by armchair critics who have never had a round under there belts.

Lennox lewis went to school in canada his family remained in london he was born and bread london. the best thing to happen to him was to go to canada and he repaid them by representing them in the olympics.


Influential teen years is vague. he spent summers at home in london his mother sent him away because he was getting in trouble. canada was a big infuence on lennox but it is an insult to his legacy to suggest he is anything less than british
